Very modern hotel in the heart of downtown Santiago de Cuba. Full service hotel with large rooms, gorgeous patio bar on the main floor with a beautiful rooftop bar and terrace. Restaurant on site with elevator. However, rooms 109 and 110 are quite weird due to having no windows. But very large and the AC units work very well. The hotel has issues with leaks in the rooms with slow drainage in the showers but the staff are responsive and will work with you if you have needs. Most staff can speak some English so US travelers should enjoy the stay.
Best views and great music, especially on Sunday nights!
We did not stay in this hotel, we only visited the rooftop terrace barFor a 3 CUC cover charge, which includes a drink, you can have a magnificent view of the city. We went on Sunday night, and it was magical with the beautiful lights and HOT sounds of the best band in town, Septeto Tipica Tivoli. Good wifi on premises too. Definitely worth a visit!
I went to the restaurant to have food and drinks, but I was ignored by the staff. So I left the place.
Nice stuff. Food could be better
Breakfast was lovely. Very fresh fruit. Lively location. Downstairs area is gorgeos. The view from the roof can't be beat. Got some of my favorite photos in Cuba here. Rooms are however, far from impressive. Beds always felt slightly damp. 3.5 stars.
I used the first floor restaurant thats opens out to the square and the rooftop bar, but did not stay at the hotel. Grand view of the Cathedral, the harbour, the city and sundown from the rooftop bar. I found the first floor restaurant a relaxing and really nice place with a wide selection of food to choose from.
The hotel is grand, true enough! It's also old and it tells: the state of the rooms and the shower could be better Also, it's run by the state and as in all these places you as a customer are just someone to bother the staff.
Breakfast is good and the view from the roof top cafe is grand again :)
Excellent location, right on the main square. Rooms were old but well maintained, low water pressure at times. Windows open and you can enjoy the sounds of the square at night as people gather to use the wifi. Shop on the street in the bottom of hotel to buy water and other needs. Wifi was iffy, but worked if you were right at the window. Food on the roof was OK, but very nice views and good drinks.
Very nice hotel
Really nice hotel I recommend the rooftop bar
Very nice building that is located in the middle of the city centre. The food was good!
Nice hotel in a great location on the beautiful square in town.
Nice rooms, location is right in the city centre - not for people who need silence =)
