Lo encontramos de casualidad! Y tuvimos la mayor suerte del mundo! Un buen lugar, las habitaciones son sencillas pero cómodas, y el desayuno muy rico y completo. 100% recomendable! El personal muy atento y amable.

Se desiderate un contatto con la popolazione locale in un ambiente pulito e tipico per una sosta di una notte va benissimo questo Bed and Breakfast ben gestito da persone serie e posizione ottima.

Wonderful place, family run. They will go to the extreme to make you comfortable. A bar and restaurant offers fresh delicious food. This is a newer hotel with bright, clean amenities. The rooms are immaculate with air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms and tastefully decorated offering an exquisite Cuban experience. Highly recommend staying here, and dining here.

My wife and I ate at Villa Maria, and we spent several hours talking to the owners. The restaurant and hotel are owned by different members of the same family. The rooms are clean and modern with a European/Mediterranean flair, and the whole place cries elegance. The restaurant is very good and the owners try very hard to please their patrons.
This place's biggest problem is its location which is not on any of the pedestrian routes. This means people don't see it, so they don't stay here. It is however within a block of the main shopping street. It is also two doors down from the wharves of the port and one block from a water-side snack-bar that has good (and REALLY fresh) fruit juice, beer, and espresso.
The market appears to be open every day (Maybe not Sunday?). We were there on a Wednesday, and the market was bustling. It included four to five blocks of stalls and carts chock-a-block with artisinal goods.
The next time I go to Cienfuegos I will DEFINITELY stay at Villa Maria.response / report this review
