Dated, but not that bad. The included breakfast is quite good. Caution: The hotel charges by the person not the room. Your dollar can go a lot further by staying in a private house. Also, address is C/ Calzada 110 | Esquina Avda de los Presidentes Plaza de la Revolución, Havana, Cuba. Google maps had the location wrong at least until early May 2017. I submitted a correction today. It's in the Vedado neighborhood 2 blocks from El Malecón.

Si hubiera alquilado un cuarto en una casa particular , banco cualquier cosa , pero en ese hotel que dice ser 4* NO . Me robaron la plata , para los que quieren lo exotico del principio de siglo y que carece de mantenimiento vayan.-

We just recently spent 3 nights here as part of a package tour with Sunwings from Canada. OUR MACAIR WAS LIKELY STOLEN BY STAFF. Our experience was not terrible and we really enjoyed Havana. The hotel is quite a way from Old Havana and Parque Central area.
Our biggest issue was when checking out we forgot our MacAir computer in the safe. Stupid yes but it barely fit and was pushed up against the back wall and was not really noticeable, We realized our error a few hours later when we arrived in Varadero. We phoned and were told it was gone. I travelled back to Havana and spoke to security but got nowhere. They have records of all entries to the room and the safe and clearly can document that no one but staff had entered the room prior to our call. The room had been cleaned and then security entered the room when we called. No one had checked in when we called. SO it is very hard to come to any conclusion other than the staff took it. I got nowhere with them.
I would avoid this hotel. There is likely collusion between staff and security to steal from guests. BEWARE

Tuve la mala experiencia de solicitar un vaso de agua en el restaurante; estuve hospedada 3 dias con desayunos incluidos!. Y la señora que atiende la entrada al restaurante con una pesima educacion me grito y me dijo que no es posible que me diera agua ??? y si tenia sed debia pagar 3 CUC por un pomo de agua. YO ya habia cancelado desde aca de Guatemala la estadia y estaba DESAYUNANDO. Asi que si usted es huesped y esta en su desayuno y tiene sed, NO SE HOSPEDE EN ESTE HOTEL ´PORQUE VA SER AGREDIDO por este señora, si tiene la OSADIA de solicitar un vaso de agua.

heureusement 2 nuitées seulement pourtant c'est cher , bref j'ai été au 9 éme le climatiseur ne fonctionne pas j'ai ouvert la fenêtre , vue n'est pas trés agréable (une école bruyante ) les murs ruiné avec l'humidité ainsi le plafond, break fast copieux et pauvre , pas d'animation et la piscine très petite , pas de plage à côté , 4 km de la ville , l’hôtel est vieux (voir photo)
