Said to have been a favourite place of Ernest hemingway, and you can tell why The atmosphere as you enter the hotel is quite uniqe. I've not stayed at the hotel, only looked around and had a drink in the bar at the roof, go there and enjoy the people, the music and the view.

Wonderful rooftop bar and restaurant. The city views are amazing, the food is tasty and the drinks creative and delicious! A bit pricey, but worth it.

Stayed here for 5 nights recently, classic 1930's hotel, which has retained its character, however it's in serious need of redecorating and has a damp problem. The rooms smell very musty and are not very clean, no hot water in the mornings, hot tap would not turn off in our room, reported to reception but no action. Bed linen did not appear to be very clean. Breakfast was very average, bread and pastries tasted a bit stale. View from the roof restaurant is spectacular though. Go for a drink at the roof restaurant, but I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Good atmosphere and decent air quality as the restaurant is on the top floor of the building, which is a huge plus. The view is what it is, but you have a nice, partially open space with regular tables and chairs and some comfy sofas to enjoy a drink. Cuisine is mediocre and don't even try pasta. Great place for an apero or just a drink.

I didnt stay here. Came only to see Hemingway's room. Im glad, Im his fan. I recommend also going to the rooftop. There is an excellent 360 degrees view on Havana. Moreover whaen going down dont take a lift - take stairs, in this way you will see some objects on the walls connected with Hemingway, e.g. his typewriter.

Nice old hotel in the middle of Habana Vieja, Rooms are modern but lack a good airconditioning system. Some of the rooms smell a bit musty, but most are fine. The bar downstairs has a piano and music every night. Breakfast on the roof is amazing.

Overpriced and dirty hotel. I stayed here with my family and partner for 3 nights booking 3 separate rooms. All rooms were really dirty with sand and hairs on the ground and even blood stains in the bathroom, the bed linen was full of stain, and there were cocroaches on one of the rooms. This hotel is known for hemingway's stay in room 510 which now has been converted into a museum, we were given room 515 which is next door and this ment a constant flow of tourist talking and slamming doors during the day. The reception is really rude and any questions you ask to them they reply in bad manners. The best part the location and rooftop terrace.

This Hotel is located in the historical part of Havana. It's just a walkway far from Ernest Hemingways favorite Bar and the charming part of the City. Good Hotel and friendly

Such a historically significant building, I only stayed for a night but the views are spectacular. Learn basic Spanish phrases- the staff really appreciate the effort. Only criticism is that the plugs in the rooms are the older versions and so you will need different adapters for Havana.

This hotel is very unfair with cubans. They treat Cubans like animals. Please avoid this hotel. They don't know how to accomplish they work all people there are security even though they look as simple staff.

Nice hotel overall. Really cool, welcoming lobby and great rooftop bar. Rooms are so-so and hot water only works sometimes, but this is about the best I could find in Havana.

Hemingway's hotel when he was in town. The roof top terrace with bar/restaurant is great. You might watch one of the cruise ships passing through the narrow entrance to the bay.

Charming place to visit while in Havana, place with wifi, great terrace in Hotel Ambos Mundos, The hotel was built in the roaring ‘20s, over a century after other colonial residences and aristocratic palaces. in 1932 a room no 511, (5th) floor became the “first home” in Cuba of writer Ernest Hemingway
