I didn't eat there. But I took a drink. It was quick and good service. The AC is strong. Music nice, and they sell Wi-Fi cards in the place. Over all pretty cool experience.

Nice place in the heart of old Havana. Serve excellent daiquiris, which is what they are known for, but is definitely a popular tourist attraction. The bar is associated with Ernest Hemmingway as his favorite watering hole and there's even a statue of him at the bar!

This is apparently the place that served Ernest Hemingway's favourite daiquiri (not sure if I spelled that right). It's a very different feel to the other bar with a strong Hemingway connection, just down the road. It's nice place though and the daiquiri is good too.

A must see when in Old Havana! The birthplace of the daiquiri and former haunt of Ernest Hemingway, this bar is always full of people drinking and enjoying live music. Even though it's busy the bartenders are super fast, and before long you can snag a seat. Make sure to tip, and get some of the complementary banana chips!

As a tourist you must visit this iconic bar where Hemingway used to hangout. There's even a statue of him taking a Daiquiri at the bar.

Cocktails were quite good, way better than the average but also by far among the most expensive ones you could find in Cuba.

Depending on the time you can also see live shows and music.

This is a very touristic, non-authentic place. Probably they invested the daiquiri but nowadays the waitresses do not know how to do them. And they are the most expensive in the city. Usually a cocktail may cost around 2 or 3 CUC (Dec 17). There it was 6 CUC and no taste at all. Try to avoid it.

Great food, great service in this, the home of the frozen daiquiri. Don't forget to take your picture with the life size statues of Ernest Hemingway at the bar. This was one of his frequent hangouts in Havana. We were their in a ship shore excursion from Royal Caribbean's Empress of the Seas. The meal was complete from appetizer to soup, salad, main course to dessert, and included beer or a soft drink and, of course, a frozen daiquiri (or non-alcohol equivalent.)

So this is an obligatory tourist stop in Habanayou must go to try a daiquiri (for Americans, this is a rum-based margaritanot a strawberry daiquiri!). It is hard to imagine Ernest Hemingway hanging out here because of the tourists crammed in like sardines, but if you look around, the architecture and furnishings are truly stunning and if you can make all the loud live music and tourists with their guides disappear in your mind, you might just image the author smoking a cigar enjoying his daily (probably multiple) daiquiris and most likely picking up women. ;-) Too loud for conversation and very touristy, but awesomely potent daiquiris that are pretty tasty.

I didn't try the food selections, instead I went for a daiquiri. We heard they made the best ever. We finally learned not to ask for a strawberry daiquiri as we do in the States. Our joke was that maybe it was interpreted to be straw in a daiquiri. Yes, El Floridita Bar has the best!

Very famous because of Hemingway statement (My daikiry in Floridita). For many years it was one of the few places to have a nice drink in Old Havana, however nowadays the daikiry is not particularly good and very expensive. I will not repeat except for listening its live music which generally is good.

Lively bar atmosphere with band in the front, quite formal sit down area in the back. Famous for its margaritas. Excellent service, but can get crowded. Popular with tourists

Might be a bit touristy & packed to capacity, but this is a super fun, lively bar steeped in history. Try the daiquiri & stay for the music. (An all female salsa band was playing when we were there & they were fantastic!)

beyond the "historical" interest of the place (which is worth *1* visit) Floridita is crowded, loud, generally unpleasant, and the daiquiri is one of the most unmemorable in Cuba. The bartenders are so blasé about the countless tourists flooding the place, they're at best unsmiling. I haven't the various bands playing are very aggressive when they pass between tables asking for money
BUT the place has kept an atmosphere, the bartenders wear fancy uniforms, there's a life-size bronze of Hemingway leaning against the bar with which you can be photograph, if you can get to it since there's a long queue

Nice bar with atmosphere of decade 50'. Is famous for its daiquiris and for having been one of the favourite of Ernest Hemingway in Havana. It's very touristic and busy place. I suggest to drink the daiquiri with mango! Also the live music was excellent !!

Very busy iconic bar that will serve you the best daquiri of your life. Surprisingly quick service for how busy it is. Highly recommend stopping for a couple drinks.

Lots of tourists! Very crowded but it's easy to get a seat since most people come for a drink or two and a couple of selfies with Ernest Hemingway's statue. Daiquiris aren't really my thing but it was a cool experience being at a bar that has been around since the early 1800s!

Probably the most touristic in place in all L`Havana, no music and no local in sight. I would not recommend it. The statue of Hemingway is pointless. Don`t get me wrong the daiquiri are amazing but ridiculously expensive for Cuba

Obviously a popular bar for tourists because of Hemingway's ties to it. But that's the whole reason for going. They actually do have good drinks and the free fried plantain chips are addictive. Cool statue of Hemingway sitting at the bar.

It's a decent bar, and always full to the gills. Main draw is the Hemingway connection. It's a must-visit in the same way the Walk of Fame in LA is - quite touristy, but it's part of the whole story, and you can skip it after the first visit.
