We previously traveled with ROW to the Galapagos and the Middle Fork of the Salmon. If you are interested in outdoor travel, we recommend ROW without reservations. For this trip, we were very glad we read "Cuba Revelations" in advance. This reading truly enhanced our appreciation of Cuban culture.

Cuba Unbound Kayak West was a once in a lifetime experience for me. This is my first experience traveling on a group tour. Our 2 leaders were very knowledgeable and helpful. It is important to be flexible when traveling anywhere. Things do not always go as planned. We were unable to paddle in the Bay of Pigs due to winds and waves. One of our paddles was quite tough. Seeing flamingos in Zapata National Park while kayaking was a highlight. Watching them fly was spectacular. The trip was a good blend of history, culture, and nature. I especially loved staying in Playa Larga on the Bay of Pigs. It was wonderful having places to stay and restaurants already taken care of. This is not how I usually travel, but it was a great way to see a small part of Cuba for the first time. The Cuban people were all so friendly and I always felt safe walking around at night. I highly recommend this trip if you have a spirit of adventure and are willing to go with the flow.

Just got back from a Parks of Cuba tour. It was well organized, full of interesting activities and experiences, and had fabulous guides as well as a driver who was a delight. It was a five-star experience all around. There is so much depth to Cuba and its people and Cuba Unbound has found the essence of that country and has brought it to us in a carefully-planned excursion that delves into some of the most lovely, historic and extraordinary places the island has to offer.

Just wrapped up the Classic Cycling Tour of Cuba with guides Danny and Jorge, and driver Alian. What a great team and experience! We found the Cuban people warm and welcoming, resourceful and very patriotic. The tour introduced us to the people and culture while offering a historical perspective. Our weather was fabulous! Highlights included the land crabs migration and vintage car tour of Havana. The cycling was great with a mix of Highway and gravel roads. We encourage people to consider Cuba Unbound for their trip to this wonderful place. We will cherish the memories and our new Cuban friends forever.

Cuba Unbound made our entire Cuban adventure a painless and fascinating experience. Our tour guide Sahili was one of the best tour guides I have encountered across the entire globe! The itinerary was jam packed with interesting, informative, and relaxing activities and we never had to wait for entry or transport to show up (shout out to our driver Eric who took us around Cuba in a hot pink 1957 Chevy). The tour was unforgettable and a fantastic introduction to Cuba!

We have been taking trips from the original company (Sea Kayak Adventures/ROW) for some time, and have always had great trips. When they started this trip, we jumped on it as a chance to explore Cuba before changes came. We went in January of 2016 and had a great time. The company did a great job of balancing time kayaking (a focus of our visit) and other activities. The guides were great, and we very much enjoyed our time in Cuba. Had great food, and visited some fantastic places and met interesting people too.

We were on one of the first Cuba Unbound trips because we wanted to get to Cuba before it truly opened up. The team was amazing. They helped us with all of the planning, prepared us for what to expect and then provided an experience that was exactly as they described. The balance between City and Rural locations, the water sports/kayaking and getting to meet and understand the people in Cuba was perfect. The on the ground team made sure we were well cared for and happy - and they were fun as well! Our group added on a week for a smaller set of women and we were very pleased with that portion of the trip as well. Andy and his team made for a trip of a lifetime!
