  Our favorite spot in Havana, such lovely staff and delicious food, accompanied by really great live music at night, really a perfect spot to relax from Havana's crowdedness.

  Located in Old Havana, La Makina is a quaint restaurant with a modern edge. The rooftop open air dining was a plus. Since we arrived the attentiveness and cordiality of the entire staff was superb. Wide array of appetizers and main course to select from. I strongly recommend the Octopus in Pesto and Mango, which was beyond my ability to describe. The breads are freshly baked and the overall quality of food was top notch. Prices are very reasonable . Ambience is casual yet refined. I particularly enjoyed the Mojitos from here. Strongly recommend La Makina as one of the top restaurants in Havana at the moment. Will definitely be back!
