Beautiful location, surrounded by wildlife and nature.

You can enjoy a morning coffee on the deck and listen to the birds.

A bit of a way outside town, wouldn’t want to walk back and forth every day - would recommend you have a transportation plan. Either a rental or get some taxi number.

Exotic but expensive
We did not stay for a meal, just for the cocktails. The prices are very expensive (prices in the menu do not include either of taxes - add another 23% to the listed prices) , so stopping by for some fruit drinks is a good way to experience an atmosphere. It was nice in the evening with all the changing illumination and life music. It is a pity it was too cold and windy on the evening when we visited in Feb (the sitting is outside) - fruit cocktails would be much more enjoyable if it was warmer. We still had fun but I would not come back for a meal - the prices seem too high for that place.

Ambience is great; you basically eat dinner under a big pretty lit up tree. Live music. Service is good. Food is good. Not as "tourist trappy" as I expected.

Very nice place! Funny idea to build the two-floor restaurant around this beautiful tree. Very special atmosphere! Food was really good, expensive for Costa Rica though. We even had live music that night! Definitely worth visiting.

We really enjoyed our meal at The Treehouse. The pizza was wonderful, we had both the tree house and the vegetarian pizzas. The central tree is absolutely amazing and my children very much wish that they could climb it. The second floor, where we sat, is beautiful however the third floor is even more beautiful. There is live music in the evenings apparently, so we came in the afternoon and still enjoyed the general background music.

Fun place to eat and hang out. It really is a tree house and that alone is pretty cool! Had a great BLT w/ avocado sandwich and peppermint lemonade. Great atmosphere and deco.

I just ordered a hot chocolate (chocolate caliente tropical) and it was supposed to have coconut cream, chocolate and whipped cream. I thought I was going to get a delicious coconut flavoured hot chocolate but instead I got a generic hot chocolate. I don’t know what I’m mad about morethe calories I gained from this drink or the 4$ I spent for a sugary drink. the thing that I really liked was the ambiance and the tree in the middle of the restaurant.

A bit pricey but you pay for the experience. Very cool restaurant and the food was excellent. Live band was good as well. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

Great service. Coffee was OK, but with a beautiful design of a bear on my cappuccino. The server was so friendly, that he also gave us advice for where to see the sunset. We then saw the sunset and were SUPER happy with the recommendation.

A very nice place to visit for a really interesting setting, being a restaurant set around a tree. They had a relatively calm Latin music band playing when we visited. Overpriced as with all Costa Rican tourist attractions, but had a good time.

Very nice atmosphere and restaurants is made around a tree so something worth going food was ok service was good we asked for some bread with pasta and was very dry and not worth eating prices were higher than many other good restaurants so if you want an experience it’s worth the money but if you just want a nice meal try some of the other restaurants.

Quirky tree house restaurant set over a few floors. This roof is composed of branches from the central tree where you can spot birds as well. Only problem is when it rains you might have to move to a sheltered table. They provide good service, quality food and live music in the evenings.

The real growing tree in the restaurant gives it a real authentic jungle feel to the place. The food in Costa Rica I found were generally lacking in great taste for flavour. This place is no different. It's also not cheap to eat there either so don't expect awesome food. Though I have to say A+ for the atmosphere.

Unique setting. I was there on a Friday night and the band, which plays there regularly, was exceptional. Amazing atmosphere-- much of the seating is open air. At night color changing lights light up the tree.

Cool spiral stairway wrapping around a gigantic tree covered with multi colored lights and expanding out over the street and you sit in the branches. Two stories of seating above a ground level entry, most under or in the branches. Food and drinks were as novel as the locale and actually good. Staff was extremely friendly and polite. Service is on Tico time but not unreasonable. Enjoyed the experience and recommend.
