The hotel was beautiful! Right on the beach and super close to the market and restaurants in Playa Hermosa. Also very easy to catch the bus from down the street to head to Jaco. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

Great accomodation right on the beach (no road in front like many other places), beautiful garden and a nice little pool. This quiet, laid back place is great for relaxing. Surfing at Hermosa can be challenging but this is the best beach break in all of CR for barrels.

I l love Tortuga del Mar! The hotel is right on the beach, every room gets you a view of the ocean and your a short drive to all the touristy towns if you want to get your shop on or eat out. The hosts Till and his wife are super friendly. Highly recommend! Thank You for a great stay!

This is a great little hotel. It only has 8 rooms which were great in Costa Rica. There are multiple sitting areas outside, a pool, and is right on the beach. If you are a surfer or want to try surfing, this is the place to be. You are within walking distance of 8ish restaurants and it is a short 4km drive from Jaco. If you don't want to stay in the busy town of Jaco and want a nice tranquil place to relax, I highly suggest this place!!

We had the best experience at Tortuga Del Mar. Lilli is incredibly personable and kind, and our room was so comfortable. It is simple, but commodious (and with air conditioning!) and the staff are very accommodating. Not only are the rooms luxurious, but the gardens are paradise and there is nothing better than laying in the hammock by the pool with the sound of the ocean just a couple feet away! The iguanas are fun to watch, and there are many delicious restaurants with typical Costa Rican food in walking distance! We definitely didn't need a car and were able to have our perfect honeymoon here!
