We've enjoyed having dinner here over the past several years but finally got a chance to stay overnight at the hotel. Our angel room, Hamied, was spacious and had a walk out patio directly to the pool. It's a quiet and peaceful property. The staff is exceptional and the restaurant remains our favorite.

We came here to enjoy our honeymoon and had the cutest welcome with drinks and room decor. The rooms are each named after an angel and have related decor and good views. We picked a pool side room, which allowed us to walk right out to enjoy the infinity pool. Very beautifully decorated courtyard surrounding the pool. The Palapa restaurant is beautiful as well, great views, service and food! Staff is great and very accommodating. Only drawback is the hotel is located right off of the highway, so you hear all the big trucks use their engine breaks.

Nice Hotel with a great pool and a very good chef! Too bad it is right beside the "highway" and every big truck that passes by keeps you from sleeping well. The breakfast was standard (when buffet). If there are not many people you can order and the food is much better! Too bad this hotel doesn't have a gym for its high star rating.

Stayed at Hotel Cuna del Angel for two nights after a weekend at a yoga retreat. The hotel staff is fantastically helpful and almost all speak English. Rooms were very clean and the hotel restaurant serves amazing food and drinks however slightly high priced for the area. Jungle rooms are preferable are on the same complex but have a significant walk up/downhill via ramp or a hefty flight of stairs to get to the main hotel, lobby, pool, spa restaurant area. Would stay here again!

Beautiful area, gluten free everything, no gluten allowed in kitchen, staff was awesome and great pool. The rooms could use a little attention or small upgrades. I would definitely come back.

This is a small hotel with a intimate feeling. It has beautiful views from the restaurant and some of the Deluxe rooms (not all of them, some have palm trees obstructing the view). Food at the restaurant is excellent and the service even better. The hotel does not have a beach front access but it is located very close (5 min by car) to some of the most popular beaches in the area. The rooms are spacious and well equip. My only complain, and this is just me being finicky, was with the low water pressure in the shower. Overall, it is a great place to relax and enjoy nature.
