I just spent 3 weeks in Costa Rica this Jan. I couldn't be happier with my stay at the Surf Inn Hermosa. The rooms and facilities were clean and well taken care of as was I by the staff and owner, Christina, who were all amazingly welcoming and eager to help with anything I needed. It is refreshing to feel so at home when you're traveling - especially since I was traveling alone. Oh, by the way, the surf out front is unbelievable!! Thank you, Christina and crew, I had a great time! I will be back

Loved this place. The small pool was perfect to jump into to cool off after the beach. Excellent staff, beautiful atmosphere and beach accesss and the rooms had perfect working AC and updated rooms with a fridge, coffee pot, plates/cups and silverware and a granite bar top area and countertops. We stayed here for three nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Is about an hour to Manuel Antonio and a short drive to Jaco. Looking forward to one day coming back!!!

Doesn’t look like much from the road but Surf Inn is right in the heart of an awesome beach town. Cannot beat the price or location. It has everything you need in the room and everything else is within footsteps. Immediately feel like one of the locals. Also Christina is easy to book with and Maria is the best. Don’t tell too many people or I won’t be able to book again to come back!

Most amazing view over taken in over a beer in a long time. Small local surf competition every Friday with a DJ to sip a drink in an Adirondack chair and watch these surfers shred while the sun goes down. It was heaven.

The perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. I was traveling alone and decided to book their Surf and Yoga Package. I am so glad that I did! Christina (the owner and manager) was amazing from start to finish. She went above and beyond with customer service-I felt like I was her only client. Each day began with a yummy breakfast at a local spot and ended with a delicious dinner at another local restaurant (both spots being tailored to what I liked to eat). Christina showed me some great local spots for Sushi, local and classic Costa Rican cuisine-we even went to a great beach bar to watch the Super Bowl. We had daily yoga sessions with different teachers in different locations around the city that varied from oceanfront to a tranquil studio in the jungle. Oscar, who gave me surfing lessons each day, was the best! By the end of my stay I was surfing by myself!

My room was oceanfront on the third floor and it was HUGE. I had my own private balcony that was perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset-trust me-you don't want to miss either of those! There were three local beachfront restaurants that were perfect spots to grab lunch and watch the surfers. If you want to add on an excursions-just let Christina know and she will take care of scheduling.

I cannot recommend Surf Inn Hermosa enough. I am already planning my return trip!

Beautiful location on a great black sand surf beach with great restaurants, yoga, and surf school next to it. Place is kept very neat. A great place to learn surfing or jist back on beach and enjoy watching surfers. That's what I did and it was very relaxing. Only thing that bothered was few people smoking weed on the beach.
