Snapper’s house was delicious! My family came in a large group of 12 people and they served us all very delicious seafood. The kids shared a seafood platter and were so excited they ate every last bite. I enjoyed the tropical snapper so much!!
We found that much of the food in Costa Rica tends to be bland, fried, not fresh and boring. This restaurant was our saving grace and we loved it! I would love to get the recipe for the tropical Snapper!!

Thank God for this place! It is incredible value to quality ratio and what an excellent seafood meal all the way up here in the mountains! The reviews don't lie!

My wife and I enjoyed our meals greatly. She had the Ahi Tuna Steak and I had the Fantastic Sea Bass. I highly recommend this spot. The service was prompt and the atmosphere appealing. Now on the less positive side, the wait to receive the bill lead to my decision to skip desert. This inattentive feel would clearly bring my rating down to a soft "4" . Try it and be the judge.

Fresh seafood, delicious meals! The food was so good, we went there 3 nights in a row (we were only in La Fortuna for 3 nights 😂). Our favourite dish was the tuna ceviche; but the grilled tuna, sea bass with seafood sauce, giant ginger shrimp and calypso whole red snapper were all amazing!

We had an excellent dinner at Snappers The food was served hot and was delicious. One waiter work the entire restaurant with excellent precision. I would highly recommend Snappers and look forward to returning on our next visit to Costa Rica.

I had a fantastic meal here. The quality (freshness) of food and service (Victor) was incredible. If you approach your food with a particular palate and are fastidious about your environment as you consume your meal, this restaurant is ideal for you! I’d return to Costa Rica simply for their seafood salad.

I had one if the best meals of my life at Snappers! I ordered the daily special (mixed plato of seafood including pulpo, calamare, mussels, giant and pink shrip, fish, etc.) The cooking was juuust perfect so that everything was soft and tasted so fresh. The wine selection could be improved but for Costa Rica i had a deceny Cabernet Sauvignon. Desert of 3 leches was also fantastic and the service was friendly and courteous. We went around dinnertime with my infant son and they even accomodated us by providing puree for the baby. I will try to go back before heading out!

My family and I came to Costa Rica on vacation. This place is a 1-million% must go. It's a small hole in the wall place so you may also most miss it, but worth ever colon. The service, the food, the price was amazing. I love so much I made it a point to go back 2 day's in row👍👍👍👍👍👍👍5 stars😁

Enjoyed everything from the tuna ceviche that was soaking in a delicious sauce of citrus and garlic to the main dishes: grilled snapper with an outrageously tasty pineapple and papaya sauce and also arroz con mariscado(sp?). And somehow we made room for their luscious tres leches cake. Rico🍰🍍

The best whole fried snapper. The rest of the family had shrimp and steak and was also amazing. The same man was taking orders, getting drinks, bussing tables and getting the check and he was a machine, if I did not believe he is the owner I would hire him in a second. He did it all with a smile. Thank you for a great meal.

Amazing food and awesome staff. Freshest seafood in La Fortuna. Their prices are very reasonable. We shared a whole fried snapper and the dish was only $11 (US). Will definitely come back here unless of course I'm run over by a bus or fall down a particularly beautiful mountain.

Great seafood! We had the family platter special and it was excellent. They bring it in fresh on their own truck from both the Pacific and Caribbean.

This place I wouldn't come back even if it's the only restaurant in town. The shrimps in ginger sauce wasn't good I couln't even eat it. The service was bad. First my friends asked for imperial beer and we called the server over and asked him if it was imperial the served us and he was rude about it. He couldn't even tell us if he gave us the normal, light or silver. When my friends finished eating he came by and asked us if we wanted dessert but we didn't but my friends where chilling and drinking beer, he came back and handed us our bill. Very rude if the place were full I can understand but an empty restaurant??? I could have made money on my friends drinking beer but he was too rude
