Great food, slow service but that should be expected here. Very relaxed coffee and great for afternoon snacks. Make sure you get the beans with garlic chimchurri on top, it's amazing!!

Great music and setting to watch surfers and the wave break. Drinks are about $6 a piece or $3 for a beer. Some good looking vegetarian options as well.

Amazing reggae music and great atmosphere. Just next to the beach that you can feel the waves.
You can always feel the love there.
Drinks are just plain but you wouldn’t expect a cocktail bar with mixologists when going to this place.

Very nice place, great stage and night live performance are very good, the food choices are very food, especially for tourists. As most places in Limon the service can improve a lot, but if you have patience you will have a good time here. Fast food is good here, you can also have typical caribean dishes here, enjoy!

I came here in the afternoon for some relaxed drinks, and was shocked by the prices, but most of all, the service. I have absolutely loved my time in Puerto Viejo, and have been so impressed by the customer service at all the places I have visited. Unfortunately, this place is not the same. The woman who served me seemed annoyed the whole time, and at one point, I saw her yelling at a tourist. She seemed to be very disrespectful.

If you love reggae, latin music, etc., then this is the place to go! Went here for ladies night and got some free drinks for 2 hours (10pm-12) from a select menu. Note that the locals come later at night, so don't expect a party until 11pm and much much later. Open concept near the beach, so you can either dance on their dance floor near the DJ or dance on the sand at the beach by a huge bonfire. Easy to meet other tourists and locals alike.

I visited Puerto Viejo a couple years back and this was my favorite spot then. I returned this time to find something different I went two nights in a row. Both times the bartenders didn't know how to make a chilada (one of the most common drinks here, I ordered in both Spanish and English), plus they were cold people, and charged me $1 for a shot of lime juice Not recommended anymore.

Cool bonfire on Friday night. BUT they will overcharge when they know you're a tourist! I was charged me 4000 colones for a rum and OJ, and it was not even good. He said he used a "special rum", which I never requested. Just a big tourist ripoff.

Super cool location right on the beach, eclectic seating and fun atmosphere. The service however is pretty lacking, even if you're sitting at the bar (at least while we were there). They have fun margs but the chili guaro is really just Tabasco served in a baby shot glass, not my recommended drink at this location.
