You wouldn't know it from the dusty road leading up to this incredible find, but this little restaurant is a favorite for locals, the staff at the neighboring resort, and anyone lucky enough to wander off the resort. The food is very tasty and the portions perfect. Prices very reasonable. Julio is the owner. He is a happy man who talks with guests about anything and everything. They were incredibly accommodating to our food allergies and even made us sandwiches for the long day traveling back where we cannot count on every food place along the way working with our allergies.

A short walk from the Punta Islita hotel, this is a terrific spot for dinner. We especially suggest the seafood soup and seafood rice. Stuart, our server, had a great personality and made us feel welcome.

Awesome food and half the price of what the hotel would offer. The pictures here are misleading as there is no view at the actual restaurant. Perhaps they do offer something but clearly not at the restaurant itself. Enjoy the national cuisine!

Kind staff, decent amount of options. Great view to the ocean and the surrounding mountains, lovely setting in the building. Only two small problems would be the high price and the sometimes small food portions, other than that this is a must go to for the view alone.

Found this place after a beach walk. Excellent, fresh seafood in a beautiful setting. If you do the scarlet macaws ARA project tour, then go eat here. The restaurant is only 300 meters farther, just past the hotel. Have fun!
