  My wife and I ate at Matapalo Restaurant yest 3/13/18 and the service was horrendous. The hotel is modern and beautiful but the restaurant staff who wait on tables need an improvement. Our waitress took awhile to greet us and take our order. When the food came out no one checked to ask if everything was ok. We ordered drinks when we put our initial order in, after that we never had an opportunity to order another drink nor were our water glasses replenished. All we wanted to do after diner was leave and still we couldn’t find a waiter or waitress to give us our check.

  Inside the hotel, great ocean view, really good food and “pura vida” service!!! Really nice!!
