  Not sure why my last post isn't here, but Quetzal Cabins are GREAT! Quiet, rustic, but totally adequate at a very reasonable cost. Peter, the owner, is super helpful. We stayed here in Feb/Mar, 2016, and now we're headed there again for March, 2018. Highly recommended.

  I got what I went for - I saw and photographed a quetzal. The accommodation is rustic, the location beautiful, and if you don't wish to cook in your cabin (which you can), you can go to Miriam's, which is just nearby.
