Good trail system, fun bikes, not technical at all but flowy and fast descents. Rentals were same price you'd pay in the U.S. so don't expect it to be cheaper.

Great place to go ride. Hills and great views, several loops to choose from with viewpoints along the way. We brought our own bikes and it was well worth the 3000 colones to ride there!

Incredible moderate trails for ages 12 and up. Bikes in great shape. Mint condition. Nice clean shop. Some great downhill as well. Well worth the trip from the Four Seasons.

Impressive bike shop in a surprising location. My wife and I rented bikes for the morning to hit the mountain bike trails surrounding Las Catalinas. The brand new Trek Fuel full suspension 29" bikes were delightful. And the surrounding trails lived up to what I'd heard: world class single track.

On top of the bike shop portion, there have surf and SUP board rental, a coffee shop, beach-front location, and an awesome restaurant across the way, where we stopped for breakfast after the ride.

Friendly staff and a great rental selection will bring me back.

As one of the only established mountain bike destinations in the area, the Pura Vida ride shop has done a tremendous job at establishing and maintaining this network of trails. Unfortunately if you're an experienced rider you may find the so-called "black" trails to be over manicured and flowy to a fault, with few technical sections to be found. Overall though the demo bikes are well maintained and the staff is super helpful.

Great mountain bike trails and excellent selection of bikes. The trail we rode flowed beautifully, with awesome views of the bay and its islands as well as the countryside. We also enjoyed their kayaks, the bay was a perfect location. We didn't try any of their SUPs but were impressed by the selection. And the guys were all wonderful to talk with, and really cared that we have fun!
