Oh man, what a great crew at the Liberia Airport National Rental Facility. We were on our way back from our vacation and stopped at the nearby gas station to fuel it up. The gas station attendant put regular gasoline into our diesel engine! A quick phone call to National, and we were all taken care of. They only charged us for a tank of gas, and handled the rest directly with the gas station - we were on our way in no time, great ease of mind, very friendly and understanding attendants. A+ - can't say I'll be coming back to Guanacaste again any time soon, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to rent from this location again.
Awesome quick service!!!
Good service. More expensive than other car rental services but the people working here were helpful and accommodating, spook good English as well. Also offered us an free upgrade to a 4x4 vehicle after dealing with other issues.
Me dice ok.
For english stay away from National. Nothig more to know. Tjis words are more than enough.
> There are plenty of other rental car places to rent from These guy will do what ever it takes to RIP YOU OFF Everything will appear fine till you have to return the car Then they will say that the registration is missing and try to charge you $250 or that the keys are not working We rented a car with 100K KM's and they tried to say that the keys didnt work after thet car was valeted at a 5star resort the whole time. >
Wasted 40 min trying to up-sell us after landing and told us we needed to upgrade because "the roads required 4x4", which was not the case at all! Then attempted to blame damage (marked on the signed sheet as having been there) on us. Never using national again.
Great customer service, but Enterprise did not inform me that liability insurance was required (a daily charge) in Costa Rica. Other than that, a great experience. They even threw in a free GPS unit, since we were unfamiliar with the area. Additionally, they stayed open for our late-arriving flight.
Renting a car internationally is always an area of concern. National in Liberia was great. Excellent English by multiple staff members. SUV in good condition. No upsells, issues with return, etc, etc. Just a simple, good rental, with great service. Good shuttle service back to the airport as well.
