We just returned home from a fabulous 2 week vacation over the holidays, staying at Casa Dewey. Our family of 14 could not have asked for a more perfect place. From start to finish, Meagan and Jarrod were amazing at helping us with everything we needed and wanted.
The house is so spacious and has a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Almost every night we would go up on the third story balcony, or walk to the point, to see the gorgeous sunsets. The pool was perfect, but the beach was just a short minute walk away for those that wanted to walk the beach or catch some waves.
The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The furnishings were very nice, and the house is well maintained. The kitchen is enormous and has everything you need for cooking and dining. We ate many of our meals outside on the huge table on the balcony. They have really thought of everything you could need or want in the house.
Meagan helped set up many activities for us, making the planning a breeze. Once we arrived, she was helpful with directions , and anything else we needed. We especially loved the zip line and the sunset cruise.
We were given great information and recommendations, and we enjoyed everything the surrounding area had to offer. There was a nearby market that had almost everything we needed, but we did make stops at the larger markets in Tamarindo when we went up that way.
We enjoyed several of the nearby restaurants, but Lola's was a definite favorite. Dining with 14 can be a challenge, so we also took advantage of two of the great catering services
that Meagan and Jarrod recommended. We even had pizza delivered!
Words cannot express how much we enjoyed our time in Playa Negra. It was truly a trip of a lifetime!response / report this review -

Our second trip to Playa Negra. What a gem! Restful vacation and postcard picture views every day. Always an excursion available if you get tired of the ocean. And Tamarindo is just down the road if you want more activity.

It's my third visit to Costa Rica. Every time we've been absolutely thrilled with Playa Negra Vacation Rentals.
From the laid back atmosphere of every local restaurant located within a 10 minute drive from our residence, to the infinity pools at every spot we've stayed in, to the breathtaking unobstructed views of the pacific every single sunset, to every need being a phone call away, we cannot recommend this agency highly enough.
Whether you want adventure every day, or only want to spend an entire week next to the pool, they have the property for you.

Absolutely top notch. The properties are beyond amazing. Jarrod and his crew will do everything possible to make your stay the best. If you are looking for a seaside retreat in one of the most beautiful places on the world, this is it!!!
