  Where to start? Carlos was an amazing tour guide. He was friendly, informative, enthusiastic, attentive to all our needs and wonderful with our kids.
  
  The van we travelled in was spotlessly clean and in very good shape, and the driver was super friendly and capable. I have been on a few tours in foreign countries where I felt unsafe, and you cannot underestimate the peace of mind Pininos Adventures provides in this respect. When you're putting everyone you love into someone else's hands in a foreign country, you want them to be top notch, and these guys are--one-hundred-percent.
  
  As for the adventure itself, the day was fabulous. Perfect, even. Traveling with our three boys ages 5, 7 and 9, everything felt a little scary (in a fun way!) but not at all sketchy. When we arrived at the park, we were just ahead of a large bus tour group. Carlos shepherded us ahead of them, and kept us ahead of them all day. I felt terrible for the people with the large tour--they were constantly waiting in line and milling around.
  
  The zip line was a BLAST. All three of our kids were able to participate, with our 5-year-old clipping on with my husband. The zip line staff was thorough and professional. They tested every line before anyone else went on it and checked and double checked all of my family's equipment.
  
  The water slide was fun but a little terrifying. My husband and two older boys went twice, but if I had it to do over, I would not have sent my small-ish 5-year-old down--it takes quite a bit of coordination to stay in the tube, the smallest helmet was a little big on him, and it's quite a long and fast ride. He and I both were pretty worked by the time I caught him in the pool at the bottom. I would have an adult test the slide first to see what you think before sending a younger kiddo down on his/her own. That being said, the water slide was my 7 and 9 year old boys' absolute favorite.
  
  The food included at the cafeteria was fantastic. Like, actual, real food, unlike anything you would get at a similar place in the U.S. There was a lot variety and it was delicious!
  
  The horseback ride was delightful. My 7 and 9-year-olds rode on their own and the horses were extremely docile and well-trained. My 5-year-old rode comfortably with my husband no problem at all. Don't skip the hike to the waterfall--it's easy and the waterfall is absolutely beautiful!
  
  The hot springs were a perfect end to the day. They were not at all crowded and there were a number of pools to choose from in an unbelievably beautiful setting.

  We absolutely loved this! I took my husband and our 3 boys (ages 19, and twins age 11) on this ride. Carlos made it fun, safe, and exciting. He took us through the jungle, and out to the ocean, where we enjoyed chicken kabobs with a seaside view. I would highly recommend this family-owned business if you want to take an ATV tour while visiting Costa Rica!!!

  we discovered pininos adventures on the internet in looking for an Atv tour in the area of tamarindo, carlos led us on a thrilling tour through the dry forest to emerge out on to the beach straing out of robinson crusoe, not a soul in sight and not man friday footprint on the pristine sand, so my family and I we had a wonderful time and we enjoyed a lot. Pura vida ATV TOUR WITH PININOS

  Pininos Adventures planned a fantastic trip of a lifetime! My family will remember this trip forever. I highly recommend using them to book your trip. They used the safest companies to book our zip-lining, horseback riding, white water rafting, tubing, and hiking adventure. I have two Children (ages 8 and 10) and it was their best vacation yet. Everything could not have gone more perfect with our trip. We have used pininos Adventures twice now and would never travel to Costa Rica without them. From the private transportation Liberia to Arenal area and them arenal to tamarindo Beach it was a great safe experience
  There are not enough stars to give this group for their excellent service.
  Carlos made the whole process very easy and custom built our 5 days trip around our preference.
  everything was perfect, We love beautiful Costa Rica and cant wait to visit again.
