It felt like home! Pachamama is the best lodge due not only to its great location, surrounded by nature and very close to the beach but also to the quality of the facilities. Adding that, the owner and manager is the best, helping you in everything needed and giving great advice in order to make your stay the best ever. I highly recommend Pachamama Tropical Garden Lodge!

Look no further! This is the place you want to stay at when visiting Mal Pais, Costa Rica! Franz will accommodate you with everything you need to make your trip a life changing experience. From Atv’s to surfing to fishing to zip lining through the jungle. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Pachamama = paradise.

I highly recommend this place!
A very well kept garden, lots of animals, and full of beautiful people.
I strongly recommend climbing up to the platform and not miss a sunset.
A big thank you to Franz who is always available to help organize any activity as well as make us feel part of his family.

Our favorite place to stay out of anywhere we have ever stayed. Home away from home but better. Because,
Franz will pretty much make sure that your every need is met but also, even the thing you didn't know you needed or wanted, he does that too. He is like visiting family but only the fun parts.

We have stayed at Pachamama twice now and each time we fall more and more in love with this place. There is a stairway that seems to go up to heaven, which has a place to watch the sunset, do yoga, or watch the howler monkeys. The staff is so amazing you may end up missing them more than the spectacular area. And the property has something for everyone, beautiful vistas, sweet bungalows, or quaint tepees. We love this place so much we will surely be back.
