Oceano was great! Most rooms are facing eachother over the pool, which means that you can see into rooms. Breakfast is included with all suites. There is food and drinks avaliable on the premises, as well as an artist's gift shop. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Close, but not on the beach.

Good venue. Service was excellent. Location was fine. I was looking for a quiet place to sit by the pool, relax and enjoy and it fit that role well.

Coming from New York to pay NY 5 star prices, we may have expected too much from Oceano in Costa Rica.

Staff was friendly but slow to fix situations like no hot water in the master bedroom jacuzzi, the pool and a.c. not working, and especially not changing the sheets even after requesting it multiple times.

Beside that, beautiful views and the proximity to the beach and the strip makes up for it. Pura Vida.

Very nice hotel and restaurant. Complimentary breakfast is awesome, the condo we stayed in was great. There's a 24 hour gym and the pool area is great, our only complaint was the amount of kids in the pool during the day: it would be nice to have a time limit for screaming kids.

Nice hotel just a few blocks away from the main strip of shops/restaurants and beach in Jaco. Very clean and pretty building. The staff were super friendly and greeted us with some sort of pink and orange beverage. We had a room without windows or a balcony, but it was still a comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights. Nice pool (although it was pretty busy with a lot of families when we visited), convenient bar/restaurant, good location. Decent price. I'd stay again.

Great hotel but they are missing couple of stuff. Room had no soap or toothpaste. You couldn't bring any one into your room. Unless , you told them some one was coming with you from when you check in. You also would have to pay a fee of 10 dollars per day. TV never work through my stay. Internet was not provided. Great view but I just wouldn't book here again. To many restrictions

I loved the stay here. It was clean & convenient. Love the option for late check out that's not too expensive. Cute pool area, rooms have a safe, bathroom was nice. The check in was easy with no hassle. Too busy adventuring to check out the boutique but I'm sure it was nice. Loved all of the paintings up.

Such a great experience. The hotels were very clean and the hotel staff really went above and beyond their duties. The host Franklin is the go-to guy for anything you'd need in the hotel and in the area. He can assist with tours and has a wealth of knowledge of the entire country. The food is excellent and if you're staying through a weekend be sure to try the Paella on Friday night, excellent dish. The sangria is probably the crowd favorite and you will be hard presssed to find better ones in that area. The hotel has strict guidelines about visitors but it's only to ensure the safety of the Travelers. The location of the hotel is in close proximity to all the nightlight and restaurants. I walked the area many time at night and never felt danger in any way. If you're planning a trip to Jaco, this is the place to stay.

Nice rooms, but that's about where it ends. The staff didn't know what they were doing and weren't friendly. We didn't get breakfast 2 days, although it was included in our stay, because they messed up our orders. The food was terrible. No sunshine at the pool. The design of the building is not efficient. And it's a nice long walk to the beach service was terrible. I would never stay here again.

No bench in fitness room. Very limited exercise equipment. Equipment low quality; flimsy and uncomfortable. Dumbbell set not complete. Room walls very thin. Hotel wouldn't give two double beds and so I'm stuck with one queen; not what I had reserved. Paid more money to upgrade to Kitchen Suite (KS). KS has oven range, dinnerware, silverware, dishwasher, and vertical washer/dryer combo. Outdoor pool water quality not very clean. Room is clean but shower is not practical; no spiget. Sliding door to balcony does not latch fully; can be open with some pulling pressure.

Highly recommend this hotel. Luxurious rooms, en suite laundry, very friendly staff. And it's close to the beach.

Beautiful place to stay. Five min cab ride to the beach (or any part of Jaco) for about 4.00 u.s. Staff is outstanding !! Swimming Pool, Plung Pool Workout Room (no hot tub, or at least hot tub area is not heated). Spa available and an Art Gallery on site. Water pressure is minimal and if u like a very hot shower you may be a bit disappointed, but this is a minor issue for all the good points about staying here.
