It was a great experience having the nature that close to your room. Facilities are awesome, pool is so nice and restaurant delicious. A little bit far from Fortuna town but the staff do arrangement for a taxi to take you for 20 USD. Staff is so professional and friendly.

The room is great, we have a private pool outside. We also have two amazing bathrooms and 3 large beds. I just wish that the pillows were softer.

This hotel was fantastic! Nothing but beautiful in every way! Green lush grounds full of wildlife (especially birds). The rooms are spacious and unlike anywhere else I've ever stayed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for all of our needs!

Great hotel with amazing rooms. Each room has two showers. One is a huge waterfall shower, the other is a standard shower. Each room also has an outdoor jet tub with an amazing view of the very close volcano. Amazing!

Grounds are also beautiful, with a really nice pool and wet bar.

Not sure how anyone can give this place 5 stars. Very tough around the edges. The only only complement I have is for the pool bar man. He was excellent.

It's clean, beds are nice, good shower. Extra hot tub or pool at your room. Very pretty grounds/garden with an amazing view. Property is well guarded at entrance. Though we felt it lacked charm. Stuff like the hairdryer, safe and outdoor light didn't work in our room. Towels at pool are rather old. Quite far from La Fortuna town and the hotel is not afraid to charge you for their taxi.

Great place to stay on the mountain. Friendly staff, good food, and the pool and bar have a great menu and drinks after dark.

Pros: Great welcome to the hotel with nice watermelon drinks and cold towels to cool down in the humid weather!!
We came before the check-in time and they managed to have a room ready for us.

The room was large and kept to a good standard
Cons: wifi in our room was terrible. Did not work for longer than 5 minutes at a time or would just cut iff for long stretches. Had to go to the restaurant or pool area for using wifi
No fridge, tea, coffee, milk in the room but they put a coffee maker there?

Side by side style cottages. Amazing shower and bath. We saw an any eater outside our outdoor hottub. Glass frogs. Food was good, clean and safe. Volcano is right there, but too cloudy for us. Went to a thermal pool nearby, by far the best we've ever been. Much nicer then the ones in the Canadian Rockies. Some rooms have a walk, but there is a shuttle. Also pretty private.
