Superb views of the mountain, the lake and the small village below. Tons of wildlife. The rooms were not overly posh but they're clean and most have big windows and porches that look out towards Arenal. Great value!

The view of the Arenal is unbelievable, better than the park itself or anywhere else. Decent free breakfast. Other than that not much. Wireless in the lobby only and the restaurant is so-so.

The hotel has great view of the Volcano and the lake and the free breakfast is okay. Didn't try the food because there is a great Soda (local cuisine) just five minutes down the street. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. As advertised, there is a coffee machine in the room but no actual coffee. The hotel is in a small village area so it's fairly quite and peaceful.
If you have time to hike, be sure to go up Cerro Chato, a dormant Volcano next to Arenal. It's not easy hike but a must experience.
