Wonderful place. Very good food. Great service. Didn't get pics of food but I got a pic of my espresso, Irish Expresso , and. Chilli Guaro shot. Very good place.

Amazing food! Ravioli is phenomenal! The fruity mango sauce that comes with the shrimp calimari is something else. It will leave you wanting more. Wonderful place!

Ravioli with fresh tomato sauce was to die for! Calamari appetizer was incredible. My husband had the tenderloin and it was excellent. Best meal we have had in Jaco!!! We will be back.

I can't say enough amazing things about this spot in Costa Rica. The mango margarita alone I would return to Jaco Beach for. The ceviche had a wonderful flavor. The plantain chips I simply adored. The chicken kabobs flavorful. The location was perfect for people watching (I went around 3p so it was not flooded with people & I was the only customer- it was November 2017, near the end of dry season). The staff practically bent over backwards to meet my requests. When asked how the plantain chips were made, my server (wish I could remember his name to give credit) brought out the device utilized and even ran to the market where they were sold to buy me one to take back to the states. I LOVE this place!

We really enjoyed our meal as well as our cocktails. The staff was attentive and readily responded to requests. As we were leaving, one of the staff members shared that "your waiter. He is the owner". (He was GREAT!)

Terrible service, very rushed. No one checked to see if we needed anything. They just plopped things on the table and grabbed things away. My tuna was so salty I had to spit it out.

Comfortable little spot and friendly staff. The food is good and the $2 margaritas are amazing! I'd definitely recommend Mono Verde to anyone visiting Jaco Beach.

While searching for a restaurant with Good food and a live atmosphere I came across “Mono Verde”. While reading reviews everyone raved about their service and food. One name that kept coming up was a waiter named Edwin. To my surprise We had the pleasure of being waited on by Edwin. Edwin and the wait staff did not disappoint. Everything from the complimentary fried potatoe chips with their homemade dip to the gourmet burger and delicious chocolate mousse dessert which was recommended by another waiter was amazing! The beers were cold and the sangria was sweet with just the right amount of alcohol. I give this place 5 stars due to their attention to detail and friendliness. I went to a restaurant right down the street nights before and it was the complete opposite. Bad food , horrible service you could tell $$ was all that mattered. NOT AT MONO VERDE!! They make you feel welcomed and appreciated !

First off, If you would like an authentic experience, do not go here. The menu is in English and very generic. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about, but nothing I would recommend to others. The service was slow and we were surrounded by giant tv screens. Sorry folks, but I wouldn't make a second run here.

Best restaurant in Jaco. Air conditioned, reasonably priced, great $2 margaritas, wonderful selection of appetizers. We tried many and they were all great. We brought along our fresh caught fish and they prepared for a reasonable price and include a nice selection of sides to go with it. Great service plus great food. Will go back next time in Jaco.
