The food was amazing! The service was good but do be aware, this place in located a short walk from a resort so the prices are rather high in my opinion.

Friendly, great drinks and delicious food. After being on an all inclusive resort and not paying for anything, I was shocked at prices, but worth it! We went twice on our stay.

Really neat little bungalow bar. We enjoyed our beers and the friendly atmosphere. I wished that the pool there was operational but will look forward to that another time.

If you're staying at RIU you definitely need to take the short walk to this place. Nice people, good food, and you probably will see some monkeys song your way.

Great beach walk in the early morning especially, and in the afternoon to the monkey bar a bit off the ocean in a wooded area. Could have used a bit more variety in the beer selection. Neat experience

Great little hideaway bar to grab drinks and look for the wild animals in the area.

The owner is very welcoming! We didn't get to try any of the food as we were heading back for lunch at the hotel but we tried the passion fruit smoothies and they were lovely despite being a bit sickly. The location is very pretty and quiet and the restaurant itself is nothing too fancy but I think it is very quaint!

Fun little place to go if you want to get away from the resort for a bit. The drinks and food isn't cheap, but it was good. For the most part the service was great! We got some complimentary chips and salsa when we arrived. Beers were cold and they had options which the resort didn't offer. The server didn't understand me so ended up with a second round of drinks that was my bad since I was in a different country. It was some semi-romantic candle lit time away from the hustle and bustle of the resort. The night time walk back on the beach was beautiful. It didn't seem unsafe to be on the beach at night, but that might be something to consider. I would go back if we stayed again.

Great service in a low key beach bar atmosphere. The beer in a daiquiri is unique.

Stumbled upon this restaurant/bar and was one of the best meals we had on our trip to Costa Rica. Service was excellent (they brought out a bowl or fresh water with flowers to rinse our hands and then hand dried them for us :))and food was even better! I had the typical plate lunch which was fantastic. Great music playing, could hear monkeys in the trees and they even had my favorite tequila. I would highly recommend!
