I have been there for dinner. Is one of the only place where to eat really good in the city. The service was not kind, they never wait, coming to remove the plate when you are still eating. In the photo, the coconut shrimps plate

I absolutely love this place! Clean and cozy and the staff are all very sweet and helpful. Miss Junies restaurant is excellent and the things to see, such as the baby turtles and wild life, are breath taking!

The lodge was clean and cozy. The staff was very helpful. The property has a neat little space at the front and back. We were able to walk to beach from the back exit. We managed to walk the property and take pics of the birds etc. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly recommend it.

Close to the village but also has a restaurant on site. Great on site tour guide and the pancakes at breakfast were awesome.

Nice lodge if you stay a couple of days in Tortuguero. If you need to contact thwm by email you will struggle to find one. Except of that you will be close to the ocean

Lovely place! Clean and beautiful, sorrounded by flowers,trees and animals. From half of the rooms you can see the river, from the others the,sea. It is an amazing place and people are welcoming and friendly. As soon as we arrived we received a welcome drink in our room. It is simply amazing.I recommend it!

I only review the Restaurant:
Nice atmosphere. The meals were small in portion and okay in taste. Nothing special or to get full if you are really hungry.
They hadn't the ingredients for mojitos, so the recommended us two house cocktails. The were made with foul wine, not drinkable.
The big bottle of water was charged with 7,5$. Over all - for us - not worth the higher price level.

Good location, good food and service though room ceiling fan didn't spin fast enough to help cool the air. Seemed to be commonplace when speaking with other guests There is no air conditioning.
Gates to beach and access to the village could be unlocked earlier for those of us who like to venture out before sun up . Stayed for two nights in early March.
