  Lovely place. I enjoyed the bungalow, had a wonderful lunch on the beach, and there's also a pool. I hope to go back and spend more time there.

  Family run hotel. Fantastic location and very friendly service. Excellent cocktails.
  Basic cabins, but everything is clean. The gardens were very well kept. Would love to go back some time

  A éviter imperativement.
  
  Hotel viellot, chambre poussiéreuse et non aérée. Odeur de moisi et d'humidité.Aucune insonorisation.
  
  Nous sommes tombés également dans une chambre avec des punaises de lit (piqûres de partout sur le corps pendant la nuit, et ce n etait pas des moustiques). Nous l avons signalé pour prise en compte et nettoyage et on nous a changé de chambre. On s est retrouvé dans la chambre d à côté. Là encore des punaises de lit. Et de nouveaux clients ont été logés dans notre première chambre.
  
  Bref, hôtel a éviter autant que possible.
  
  Seul point positif, la localisation, proche de la rue principale, de la mer et du parc tortuguero. En même temps, pas difficile vu la taille de tortuguero.

  Great place and it was an experience. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the guy working the front desk try to put us in a smaller room even when we paid for a larger room. No ac so be ready to sweat your balls off

  Great location, located directly on the beach. Room needed updating, sheets were pilled and worn threadbear. Shower did not drain. Beautiful garden, nice common area but the room and bedding had a lot to be desired.

  Lo mejor: hay café gratis las 24 hs. La ubicación no es mala, tiene una lindo jardín y fácil acceso al mar.
  Lo peor: habitación doble pequeña, las sábanas eran viejas y estaban manchadas, las instalaciones de la habitación dejan mucho que desear. El desagote de la ducha se vertía directamente al jardín contiguo a nuestra habitación generando mal olor y malas condiciones de higiene. Si bien nos dijeron que podíamos hacer el check in a las 13 hs, recién pudimos disponer de la misma a las 14:30 hs ya que esta no estaba lista. Tuvimos inconvenientes para pagar con tarjeta y el encargado no se mostró muy predispuesto a brindarnos soluciones, acusando que el problema era de nuestra tarjeta lo cual no era cierto.
  Conclusión: no lo recomendaría. hay mejores opciones en el destino.

  I spent 2 nights at this hotel with my kids in August 2017. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel, despite being on the basic side, had very clean and well kept rooms. The main reception area is in a nice old traditional wooden building. The hotel has a small swimming pool, which we used and enjoyed.
  The best aspect of this hotel is its location, right in the centre of Tortuguero Town (no need for expensive boat taxis), which gives you access to restaurants and shops in town. The hotel is also located next to the beach.
  I would use this hotel again with no hesitation.

  Zeer basis hotel! Onze kamer was klein en lag het verst van het strand maar hebben toch goed geslapen! De keuken was zeer lekker. Strand aanwezig!
  De rit van La Pavona naar Tortuguero is prachtig!

  Très bel emplacement. Le lieu donne directement sur une plage sauvage magnifique et la baignade est très sympa. Les chambres sont correctes. Il manque un lieu de détente avec hamac et chaises longues dans la verdure.

  Buena relación calidad precio. Un hotel funcional sin grandes lujos. Como detalle te dan un jugo de frutas a tu llegada. Las habitaciones triples son un poco pequeñas para tres personas y pueden llegar a ser demasiado calurosas durante el día.
  Los desayunos en el restaurante del hotel son muy buenos. Recomiendo el gallo pinto de huevos rancheros y los jugos naturales.
