The Majestic is clean, beautiful, and if you're lucky enough to be here on a clear day, the views can't be beat. Our first impression was how clean and well organized everything was, or as my wife described it "spa like." Everyone appreciated coming back here after a long day of adventures and being able to take a swim in the pool, relax in the hot tub, or having some drinks while taking in the views from the outdoor dining area. The middle of town is only a 15-20 minute walk which we walked quite often to go to the restaurants or to get snacks/beverages from the store there. There's also Howler's Bar and Grill right next to the house which is open for lunch and dinner. They have awesome pizza and great craft beer. Staying here in this quiet little village was our favorite part of our trip. The Majestic let us break away from the thousands of other tourists and pushy street vendors and just enjoy Costa Rica.
If I'm ever lucky enough to visit Costa Rica a second time I would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend the Majestic to anyone looking for a place to stay in the La Fortuna area.response / report this review -

Super nice. I love the dogs there. Their names are Puky and Luky. 10/10 would would be good boys again. The are very affectionate and polite. Some would say that they are the goodest boys. They love being fed and provide the opportunity for pets in return. Also the house is kinda nice.

Great place if you have a big groupright on the graveled road and surprisingly, you get a lot of street traffic.if you have a family of 4recommend you get the sister property up on the hill.

Extremely well kept. Spartan clean. Good location. Nice hosts Dan and Nancy. Shops close by for essentials. Good Resturant's nearby too. Tabacon and Sky Adventures within 1/2 hour.

I do not recommend this property as the management is dishonest. We booked a trip here recently, and one day prior to our trip we received an email that he property was over-booked and they could not honor our reservation. They offered us an inferior property, which we accepted because we had no choice. We decided to stay 2 nights instead of 3, and were told we would be refunded the third night. After returning to the US, the owner changed her mind and decided not to do the refund.
It was a very frustrating experience. I now wish I would have taken pictures of the cockroaches in my room so I could add them to my review.response / report this review
