Absolutely gorgeous little ecolodge. I spent 8 days travelling all around Costa Rica and could have been almost as satisfied just staying at this ecolodge the entire time. The whole property is like a beautiful, exotic garden with a lovely little pool, and a short walking trail around the property where I saw toucans and other exotic birds, an agouti, many frogs, toads, geckos, and lizards. Close proximity to Arenal Volcano (stunning view of it from the property,) La Fortuna Falls, and Baldi Hot Springs. I hope to return to Costa Rica for a longer visit someday, and a longer stay at this ecolodge will certainly be on my itinerary. I loved getting up early enough for sunrise then taking a nap in my swinging hammock during the afternoon rain showers. The only suggestions I'd give to the owners would be: a stronger wifi signal, better hot shower heaters (they only last about 5-ish minutes before going cool,) and perhaps implementing a small bar. I am fine without these things, but I think it would certainly increase business here. If you are looking for a quaint ecolodge in the rainforest near volcanoes, waterfalls, hot springs, and an abundance of wildlife that will make you feel connected to nature, while still excellent for relaxing, I highly recommend a stay here!

The room was great. We didn't have hot water in the bathroom the first day. The restaurant was decent.
