This place is great! Fanny was the best host! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and super quiet! Fanny make the best Gallo pinto in all of Costa Rica, we tried it in every place but nobody could match the breakfast she served! El Castillo is still quiet and relaxing, away from the busy streets of la fortuna. I would come here again, the view of the volcano from the front is epic!

I highly recommend this quiet little hideaway. Service is peaceful and the rooms are clean. No breakfast though.
