The hotel is really good, the room, the pool and the restaurants look really nice, if you like Gallo pinto for breakfast, you will love theirs. And not only that, though. Props to the chef, I've stayed there a couple of times in one year and the food never disappoints me.
I took a couple of stars because in my last stay I saw cockroaches in the main hallway and also I saw one right next to the steps in the first floor. But the stay in general was really good nonetheless.

I was begging my girlfriend to come back here again after our first visit, but she wanted to try different things. The food and price was outstanding. The view was remarkable. I seriously cannot get over how much we got for our money. I saw some people didn't rate this as highly, they must have mental issues. Definetly get the Mahi. It was to die for. A+++

Very nice hotel to stay in. Rooms are modern, beds are comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The beach near the hotel is less populated and the sunset views are spectacular. Dinner at the restaurant was a bit slow on the service but food was quite filling. Breakfast is satisfying. Finally, secure parking is available here.

Location is fantastic. Views from the pool and bar are great. Live music at the bar. Easy beach walk to downtown Jaco. Food and drinks are okay but really pricey. Workers are helpful and friendly. The room we got was a cave, no windows, dark, and quiet. Good for catching up on sleep but otherwise it encourages you to get out of the room.

The Jaco Laguna Beach Resort, is a a short walk from the heart of Jaco. Great location for the family, lovers or solo travelers. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily, all rooms have a view of the pool and beach. The staff was very informative and helpful. Food and drinks at the Tiki Bar watching soccer made for great atmosphere. I'd like to to thank EVERYONE including hurricane Imra, for making my first time experiencing the Pura Vida way of life a very memorable one. I returned home very relaxed and 8 lbs lighter! 😉

I had friends tell me they love this place. I stayed one night and was very impressed. The value was great. The place is very very clean, the staff was great, and it was a great price. We had the 3rd floor so we walked out the door to an amazing ocean and pool view. It took me exactly 105 step from my door to the beach. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Jaco. I will also recommend this place to anyone who is interested in staying at the South end of Jaco Beach. This is the quite end if the beach with the better surf.

I cannot say enough about how amazing our stay was at Jaco Laguna. I gave it 4 stars simply because I do not want people to think it is a traditional 5 star hotel but when I rate the staff and the experience it was a 10. We felt safe and protected and attended to at all times, yet it was chill and relaxed surf hotel. The surf instructors were amazing and I feel like it is a place I can return again and again with my kids.

The view was stunning and the hotel was very clean and maintained. The food was also extremely delicious in their restaurant "Breakers". This place would've gotten a 5 stars if my brand new shoes had not been STOLEN!!! That's the worst feeling to come to your room and something was taken from you. I spoke with the front desk and all she did was hand me a contact card that was already displayed on the front desk. I emailed the hotel and have yet to get a reply. So if you plan to stay here make sure to watch your items or take your valuables with you. Even though it had some pros I won't stay here again. I don't think it's fair to give them all this money just to be robbed.

Oh hell yeah, this is a great hotel in Jaco! Great rates, super clean, right on the water. The Tiki Bar was where I spent a lot of time drinking the local beers. Try the Monkey Banana! You feel like you are on your own private beach, a nice walk takes you into town to great bars and restaurants. The food there is OK, but you are better off heading into town for a bigger selection, though I suggest the breakfast to fuel up your day there. The sunsets are something you will never forget. If you are looking to shut off your brain and relax, this is the place. If you want to swim and surf and explore, this is also the place. Friendly staff, secure, free wifi fast enough for Netflix.

Highly highly recommend this place. Only 26 rooms so it is not crowded. Off the beaten path and does not feel touristy at all. Pool and beach access on the property. Pool / beach front bar and restaurant reasonably priced. You can walk into town (a decent walk) or a cab for $3 (1,500 local ) . They have a lady that comes on the property for massages. They arrange everything for you - whether jungle hikes, ride to the airport , taxi, laundry, etc. Excellent service and excellent maid staff that keeps the place clean. Can't say enough good things about this place and Costa Rica in general.

We have had a wonderful stay at Jaco Laguna!
The staff is excellent--thanks to Natalya for helping us at reception. The wait staff at both the Tiki Bar and restaurant were excellent and the food was fresh and well prepared. The variety was good too. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. We were thankful we booked our Christmas here & are already planning to return!

A wonderful little resort hotel with its own surf beach at the south end of Jaco. Basic room, not too fancy. But you're right on the beach! Steps from the ocean. Feels private. Staff (Maria Fernanda) was very accommodating and friendly. Can rent boards right there too and surf lessons.

A small, homey feeling at this place. And awesome tiki bar right on the sand to unwind and watch the sunset. Highly recommend.
