This was our 2nd stay here. The breakfast is fresh and delicious, the rooms are clean and spacious. Located on the eastern side of San Jose in the Momentum Plaza, there are many restaurants and boutique stores nearby. The pool and gym are small but clean. The staff is VERY helpful and will go out of their way to assist you.

I always use this hotel when I'm in Costa Rica. In my opinion, it offers the best price-quality for those traveling for business. Very nice and well-designed rooms, good Wi-Fi, friendly staff and a decent menu. Besides, it is located in a mall that is not too busy, but that has many restaurant options for all price ranges.

This is a clean friendly place, great food and staff, it's actually located on a mall so you'll have MacDonalds right there also Denny's and a Walmart crossing the street , toy's r us and a good pharmacy

Nice hotel, great rooms, parking , convenient location and plenty of restaurants (even for vegetarians) in the shopping center. One thing I hated was the silly policy of charging extra after the first guest, given is a bit pricier than average. Besides that everything was perfect.

Excellent location, lots of shops, restaurants, and bars to choose from. The hotel is also very nice and the staff are very pleasant. The free full breakfast is also a nice touch with many local and standard selections. I have stayed here three times and am looking forward to returning someday.

Jessica Gomez is the best gallery host at this hotel. She is very knowledgeable and help to suggest local attractions, and sightseeing ideas. Very helpful, friendly and professional.

American style breakfast tasty but no croissant. You can find easily many restaurants for your lunch or dinner. Some of 1st or 2nd floor rooms may not be recommended because of some car headlight and the feeling. The room is very clean and well formed but no minibar drinks or snacks.. You can't open the window for fresh air.

Young black man's review (may not apply to you):

Hyatt place has always been my go to when I visit Costa Rica. Have stayed here three times now. This hotel caters to businessmen and women moreso than travelers like myself. However the decor of this hotel is nice, it is clean. The hosts are very kind and are bilingual. I always stay in a King room which I love. The views from either side of the hotel I would rate 3.5/10. Honestly it is a nice hotel that makes me feel comfortable. The only reason I am rating this hotel 3 stars is because Costa Rica is known for its racist inhabitants and I do find that even the hosts here speak to me differently if I'm not dressed very nicely like the other business people here. But Like I said, this may not apply to you if you are not a young black man like myself. If you are a foreigner and looking for somewhere safe and comfortable I recommend this hotel.
