Only stopped here after a horse back riding trip in the area. Sitting in the lounge chairs, the breeze, and a ice cold beer made me feel like I was in a Corona commercial.

Hotel Pelicano was a beautiful hotel that i fell in love with. I absolutely love their bar area and back patio. There are hammocks everywhere to swing and enjoy the day away. The bar served amazing drinks and the food at the hotel was amazing. The hotel offered horse back riding on the beach. My evening ride was beautiful but it was about 95 degrees and the horses got tired quick. The beach is really beautiful. There arent a ton of tourists wandering the area. The beach is more calm than the touristy areas in costa rica. An all arounf beautiful place to visit, sit back, and enjoy your surroundings.

I'm at a loss of words in describing the hospitality that was shown when staying at Hotel Pelicano back in November of 2017. Every single meal or snack or beverage was nothing less than perfect. The bartenders, staff and owners were always present and felt more like family than anything. I wish I could give this establishment more than 5 stars. They deserve 50. Thank you Mikey and Diana for making my first trip to Costa Rica so memorable. When I come back I know exactly where I will be spending all of my time. Your love for what you do and how you do it was so obvious and very contagious to everyone around you. Beautiful people. Beautiful place. Dank foods. Highly recommend Hotel Pelicano.

Great bar and restaurant! Friendly staff, good food, best piña colada I've ever had - freshly blended fruit. Wonderful ocean view with easy beach access, showers and lounge chairs. Definitely recommend!

Top notch place with excellent management. The location is right on the beach with beautiful views, relaxing music, and great activities. They provided delicious food, fun times, and beautiful experiences for me and all my friends!

We went there for dinner and to hear a local artist, Robbie Clark and the Live Wire band. The wings and fries were exceptionally good The service was fast and friendly and the prices were very reasonable..

Absolutely beautiful location! We didn't stay here, but did meet Diego for horseback riding on the beach. He'd set up a traditional lunch for us at the Pelican Restaurant. Delicious, perfectly cooked, and the staff was pleasant and attentive. We were staying in Jaco, but this is a much prettier, secluded beach to enjoy.

Very nice Restaurant. We went there to have lunch with the riding adventure just after our horseback riding tour. Seems to be a very clean hotel and their food is delicious. The owner, his son, and their cute dog were very friendly and kind.

Friendly reception, as usual. Beautiful ocean view from under a Nipa hut. Food order was a bit slow in arriving (pura vida, we were taking in beautiful views of animals and macaws) but once it arrived, it was delicious.

Excelent restaurant . Value Price!! friendly relax enviroment. good advice when booking tour with them. The Riding Adventure tours from jaco or Manuel Antonio will arrive in this place for lunch daily. I use them and always have happy customers!!
