  We only ate dinner and dessert at Laguna Mar, but it was a nice looking facility with very friendly staff. Dinner was good, a bit more expensive than what we were accustomed to in Costa Rica, but service was great and the value was decent enough.

  Excelente lugar para venir y relajarse un rato, muy rica la comida, un poquito largo el camino para llegar pero las playas de por acá son demasiado tranquilas y super limpias. Me encantó el hotel las habitaciones están muy limpias y el personal es muy servicial. Quedamos encantados al venir acá!!

  My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary in Costa Rica, out of all the hotels we visit Laguna Mar was our favorite! The owners and care takers of the hotel are amazing people that took great care of us and the FOOD seriously BLEW US AWAY!!! CHEF PABLO IS AMAZING and we ate at the the restaurant both nights we stayed there. We had private waterfall tour and they also have secluded romantic beaches all around!!! NOW GO VISIT THIS GREAT HOTEL!!!

  This place is close to good surfing at Playa Sam Miguel. The hotel staff where friendly and very helpful. Great place to relax after a long day.
