We were welcomed with delicious drinks upon arrival and honestly felt like family while we stayed at El Silencio Del Campo. The staff were friendly, the amenities were clean, and the rustic atmosphere made this stay the best part of our trip. I would highly recommend booking this as your lodging if you want to explore the La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.

The staff and all the accommodations were beautiful and the thermal bathes were relaxing and soothing to your skin. The staff were helpful and the treatment we received was the best I have ever experienced.

Wonderful place for families. Smaller but nice hot springs. There is a farm where they let the kids milk the cows and gather eggs. Breakfast is delicious and the rooms are spacious. Service is friendly. Recommended.

I can't say enough good things about this very magical resort. The setting and the gardens are absolutely spectacular and when enjoyed from the beautiful private thermal pools you feel like you've found Eden. The accommodation is made up of independent cabins that are very private, comfortable and well appointed. The staff throughout the resort are a marvel and super attentive. the restaurant is very good and offers a very nice variety. Breakfast is included and is delicious with loads of fabulous fresh fruit. I will definitely return and highly recommend this magical place

Hotel El Silencio del Campo is a beautiful resort in the Arenal area with a staff that goes above and beyond. My wife and I arrived late, staying only one night, but the staff allowed us to keep our bags in their office during the whole next day while we explored Arenal and waited for our shuttle to pick us up. The grounds are beautiful and the spa is very nice.

What a treat to stay here. Lovely individual little houses in gorgeous gardens, great for birdwatching from the patio. Beautiful thermal pools. Excellent staff. Good food. Expensive but worth it for a treat. The spa was great too. Probably the most perfect hotel I've ever stayed in.

My family were there last month. It was supposed to be my family and my brothers family, but due to personal reasons my brother and his family had to back out. We had a blast and looking back wished that we had stayed longer at this hotel than the one in San Jose. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable . When we do decide to return to Costa Rica , we will definitely be staying at Hotel El Silencio del Campo. Thank you for such a pleasant first time trip to the area!

Best place ever. Charming bungalows. Great staff. Ask for Jonny. Every place needs a guy like Jonny. If you don't stay you will be disappointed.

Awesome mix of luxury and down to earth simplicity. You can collect chicken eggs and milk a cow and then get a wonderful massage at the thermal spa, and spend the time in between just relaxing in the hot springs. And there are great views of Arenal all over.

The cottages were spectacular. You can see Arenal volcano at the lower numbered cottages, but the larger numbered cottages are closer to the hotsprings. There weren't too many people here in July, so our stay was perfect. Yes, there is a large hotel next door, but I barely noticed it while walking around the well maintained grounds. La Fortuna is a big tourist town so large hotels will happen.

Great boutique hotel, definitely one of our favorites in Arenal. In an area that is continually becoming more touristy this property does a great job of keeping the boutique feel that made Costa Rica so popular to begin with. There are 19 individual villas and your own private hot springs - for hotel guests only - so it's a great spot to visit the best of Arenal without feeling like you are in a bland resort.

Beautiful landscaping and large villas/rooms with air conditioning! Many hotels in Costa Rica have no AC and/or open slat windows that allow bugs in, but this place has fully closed walls! Also, the hot springs are very nice. Great service as well.

Beautiful Setting in the view of the Arenal. Front desk excellent and VERY well informed. They set us up with all of our tours and we went from one great tour to the next. The Thermal Springs were also great at the end of a long active day. Food excellent. Excellent Value

The staff is very helpful & the grounds are beautiful. The room had great modern conveniences & still had a volcano view when the clouds actually clear up. They gave us an umbrella to use during our stay which was so useful because it rains several times throughout the day.
