Not very luxurious, but a very nice place where you can see a lot of birds and sometimes monkeys. Rooms clean, with AC. A swimming pool is also available. Great place for nature lovers.

This is a gem of a place, birders definitely will love it, plus the pool is great and the staff amazing, we planned on one nite stayed for 3 and will definitely returngreat location for exploring coastal beaches and a sunset to die for!!!

An excellent place to stay in the Tarcoles area. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy. The restaurant has great food and great service. They have bird feeders that attract many of the beautiful local species. I will stay there again.

Is an amazing and quiet place to be in touch with wild birds like macaws, nice place to enjoy the nature, and the staff is friendly.

Not disappointing at all. The bird watching was outstanding and the walk that was recommended topped off a great stay. Special mention must be made of the kitchen staff who very helpful and attentive.
We would have liked to have seen fresh instead of artificial flowers in our room and the airco can be taken out to boost that eco-lodge feel. A great place to stay.response / report this review -

The birding in this area is great. There a few close trails and feeders at the dinning area work too! The staff was good and the rooms were OK but we came for the birds..

The nice thing about this place was the birds. Breakfast was ok. Rooms not so much. Rooms were small and beds uncomfortable. The bathroom was a disaster since it was pretty much outside!
