We met friends from the US and had a nice dinner. The grilled steak was good and large, Texas size. Took half home for breakfast. My wife's fish was good. Our friends cooked plantains were tasty. Urber had difficulty transitioning from the highway as the exits weren't marks or lite. Only complaint.
It is close to the airport. They paid our cab in lieu of a shuttle. The entrance off a highway service road is not so inviting but once you are through the gates you are in a secret garden with beautiful grounds and wonderful buildings. The restaurant is great (we had breakfast at the beginning of our trip and dinner at the end). The staff are all friendly and helpful.
I have been staying here for a few nights each year for more than 10 years. I love the open air lobby, great restaurant, and proximity to the airport.
Highly recommend!
Nice hotel. Nothing special but clean, with good beds.
A really cool hotel in Costa Rica. Probably the best of the seven we stayed at during my trip. Amazing places to observe the wildlife in Birds very cool hikes to go on so many activities you'll never get bored. Amazing animals and birds easily seen from all the texts amazing views amazing atmosphere very comfortable rooms and actual heated water in the showers. Close proximity to money hikes and interesting activities highly recommend staying here if you have the chance.
Perfect for an overnight stay near the airport. Clean, efficient and friendly.
Stayed at Hotel Aeropuerto on our first trip to Costa Rica in 2007 and fell in love with the place. If you prefer the Holiday Inn then you might not like this hotel. If you want a real Costa Rica experience then this is the place to go to. Always impressed by the open front entrance. Always good Costa Rica food in the restaurant. Helpful staff. Usually speak and understand English. They cover your cab fare to and from the airport. We usually stay at least one night on trips to Costa Rica since 2007.
Beautiful place. I would have given it 5 stars except for the surrounding.area. Very industrial
Great hotel with great service. Near the airport. Nice garden and pool.
WARNING!!
We had a confirmed reservation with this hotell on our last night in San Jose. On our way there we get a message from them saying that they have given our room to someone else. We got no help finding another hotell and their only recomendation was to ask a taxidriver to take us to another hotell.
Clean, nice staff, close to the airport. Older, funky, and kind of like a Costa Rican Motel 6, but not quite. It's fine.
Very well appointed, with a relaxing atmosphere, inside and out, typifying/exemplifying the mild Costa Rican climate, and professional, accommodating/friendly staff. Excellent architecture and interior design choices. Close to Juan Santamaria Airport. I found a price reduction and was rewarded with an experience much needed, one of luxury and quiet rest.
We stayed twice and it was just what we needed. A little difficult to find if you are unfamiliar with the area but it is perfect if you are stopping on your way to or from La Fortuna. The rooms are a tad run down but if you want a pristine American hotel you can go pay more than double down the road at Hampton Inn. This place is gated with nice gardens and a reasonably priced restaurant. Breakfast is free and delicious and our server named Louis was great conversation over dinner. If we head back to Costa Rica we will likely make a stop over here again.
Very close to the airport but there is no shuttle. Cab ride is only $10. Rooms are very clean. There is a nice pool and a restaurant.
The front desk staff speaks English.
I took the bus into El Centro for about $.30.
