It was absolutely amazing ! We were able to get a private tour with an awesome tour guide. They really took care of you and allowed you to get the best experience for your money. Would definitely go back !

My husband and I took our girls, ages 7 and 8, on two horseback riding trips with Hacienda el Cenizaro while we were in Costa Rica. On our first 1.5-hour ride, our main guide, Jonathan, was so wonderful with my whole family and especially my girls, and the horses so clearly well-cared-for, and the location so gorgeous, that we just knew we had to go back. We were able to schedule a 3-hour private ride with Jonathan as our guide. He took wonderful care of us, showed us so many interesting and beautiful sights, and was so sweet to my girls that both of them were crying about having to leave and begged to stop by again on our way to the airport, just to give hugs and say a final goodbye! I can't recommend this place enough. They are kind, professional, amazingly accommodating and friendly, and will work with you to ensure that you have the best experience possible. Example: My husband lost his wallet during our 3-hour ride, and Hacienda El Cenizaro rallied several employees to ride back out and search for it through thick jungles, sprawling fields, and rocky mountains. The wallet never was found, but the fact that they were so willing to make the effort to find something so tiny in an area so vast speaks to the care they take with all of their customers. One of the very best highlights of our trip, for sure.
