We stayed here for 5 days and had a great time with this quaint and funky little resort. We absolutely LOVED the kite surf instructors, enjoyed most of the meals we had at the on-site cafe and wood fired pizza (They tend to get overwhelmed if there are more than 10 tables though). The owners are super friendly and helpful. The help staff does not speak anything other than Spanish, are not very helpful, and mostly seem to tolerate any guests that don't speak Spanish. The prices are super competitive with most meals being $9-$12 though they have this policy that they charge you for any food or drink you bring to the cafe yourself (Understandable but would be nicer if there was a common area). If you don't have a car the taxi is $15 to or from La Cruz (They will ask for $20, but this is overcharging). There is a bus that stops pretty regularly but is pretty early if you are catching a connecting bus. If you don't have a car you can ride out with the truck (Super fun actually) at around 9:15 to the dedicated beach. If you have a rental car, they give you a key to the gate to get to the beach. There are often cattle in the way.

The only things we disliked about the resort were pretty minor. Checking in was odd, the help staff just asked for our name and looked on a giant ledger for a match and tosses you the key. Checking out is , frankly, unprofessional. They have a piece of paper with handwriting all over the place and just jot down numbers and arrows and all kinds of havoc. I would not be surprised if they under or over charge every other guest just by accident. If you keep track of ALL of your purchases in the cafe and rentals on the beach you will be better off. You can pay for the cafe charges and hotel charges with credit card but all rentals and lessons must be in cash (US dollars are taken). The nearest cash machine is in La Cruz however, so come with cash. We also felt that the rental gear left some to be desired. Much of it was very worn (Expected) but to the point of excess. Make sure you check for damage if you rent a kite, the one I was about to fly already had a 6" hole in the canopy when I pumped it up.

They have kite lockers behind the office but bring your own lock. We felt safe the whole time and do not know of any theft in the area. There is a small mini mart that is a 10 minute walk away that takes credit cards.

Also, their beach is a bit of a fib on the website. There IS a public beach about 200m from the resort, but there are lots of locals and is not secure. You could do a downwinder from here to the REAL kite spot that is about a mile away. It takes about 25 minutes to walk on the beach (one stream crossing) or about the same to walk up the road.

Mostly visited by kitesurfers. Magnificent view from every room, rooms are basic but clean and quiet. Staff is super nice and food is very good.

We spent 5 nights in Blue Dream. 1 night in a standard room and 4 night in Bungalow. It's a nice place to stay if your main reason for traveling is kite surfing like us. Bungalows have better WiFi because they are closer to router but they are also closer to the restaurant so it can be a little noisy, but if you are not sleeping before 10 pm it shouldn't be an issue as the restaurant closes at 9.30. They have good food at the onsite restaurant and you can also order lunch to be delivered to you at the kite beach.

We stayed in one of the rooms on top of the hill but we couldn’t get any wifi signals so moved to one of the bungalows where is very close to restaurant and office. So everything was fine after that. View is georgous from the balcony, food is delicious at the restaurant. It is a very quite area which is great to relax and kitesurf. We were there for 5 days, unfortunately it wasn’t windy at all for those days. But I would stay again!

Incredible experience!! Basic rooms, but just a killer vibe and Nicola is inspirational in what he can do on the water. Also, the wind is pretty much guaranteed every day in the winter season, but it can get Very strong every once in a while

So the staff is awesome and the wood fire Pizza is the best (Order at least 1 hr before you want to eat, have a few drinks, worth the wait) and the view from our room was great. The beach is nice and close by but this place is not at all what we were looking for and after we booked we were stuck. This place is not quite a resort and when you book on Air BnB they don't give the name of the place so you can't look it up. If your in your 20's or 30's and into kite surfing or have an extra $400.00 for lessons this is your place but other than that look somewhere else. There is no AC and all the screens are torn so no way to cool the room or keep the bugs out except spray deet under the door and around all 4 leg's of the bed. As for food the price is good. Unless you drive to town you have no other option but to eat at the restaurant, the best deal is the Pizza. The cook along with the rest of the staff is awesome, I would definitely come back for pizza night and a few drinks but not to stay.

Not a good place to stay, rooms are so bad we left even before the first night. Room access is very steep, even with a 4x4. No air conditioning , insects in rooms. The only positive point is the kite spot not far.

Great host on Nicola, amazing kite surfing teacher as well. Is an amazing place to spent sometime learning a new sport and away from the rest of the world. Not much else to do to be honest, but no need because after a day learning kite you just want to rest and enjoy the muscle pain.
You will get what you pay for when it comes to room and facility, but I was there years ago ad not sure if any improvement.

Our 5 days at the resort have been amazing. Nicola teached us to kitesurf and the stuff is really nice. The food is great and the service (with food delivery at the beach) is really good. Perfect place to learn kitesurfing! We had nice company and a lot of fun. Yes, it is in the middle of nowhere, but at least you can totally concentrate on kitesurfing. ;)
