Nature at its best, lots of activities in la Fortuna. Good coffee and food. Everyone is very nice. A little touristy and it takes a couple of nights to get used to sleeping hearing the sounds of so many creatures.

A beautiful town square in the middle of Fortuna. We kept grounds with numerous species of colorful flowers. The church here must be viewed as well. Glorious.
Taxis leave from here too so you know where to find a ride.
Lots of restaurants circle the square for food options.
Also, the Don Juan plantation tours leaves from here if you are doing that tour.

Such a beautiful park, full with families enjoying the air of this gorgeous country. Kids playing all day, people walking, everyone smiling. Cute water features and fountains, gorgeous flowers and plants and a great view to the mountains and the volcano. Amazing place.

Quaint. Quiet. Peaceful. Plenty of surrounding restaurants I'd give more stars to.

Very cute little park. Lots of beautiful flowers and trees that are well maintained. There are lots of coffee shops, souvenir shops, restaurants and ice cream places around that you can walk to as well.

Well I like public city parks, particularly in Spanish speaking countries because families come to enjoy them in the evenings no matter how simple the park may be. Usually, they have a central fountain and the children really love playing around them, like at this park. If there's no fountain, then the kids just enjoy running around and perhaps playing hide and seek, while laughing a lot!

Beautiful place and great area to just hang around in if you're trying to relax with plenty of places to grab something to eat around it.

Well kept public space that offers great views of Arenal Volcano once the clouds burn off.

$15 gets you an all day pass to a small waterpark, amphibian, reptile, and butterfly exhibits as well as an on-site hike to the Arenal observatory. I only had time to spent a few hours, but for $15 I still felt I got my money's worth

Great community center in the heart of La Fortuna! We were told this space used to be where they had the soccer field. The community turned it into a park years ago and it is absolutely beautiful! A very nice gathering place.

Great little park in Fortuna. Lots of families playing on the grass. Plenty of seating and venders to get some snakes or a drink. Night life seems to pick up on the street, buskers, shops, lots of good food close by. Amazing architecture of the old church.
