Finca la Puebla is a beautiful small organic jungle farm where you'll learn about growing tropical and other edibles, including coffee. You'll have close encounters with spectacular birds of unreal colors, see a rushing river on the property, and enjoy a large covered outdoor space for hanging out with other woofers, reading, doing yoga, playing an instrument, or becoming one with a hammock during cooling late afternoon thunderstorms. Walk to the local town for a meal out and tasty drinks, or take a day trip to the cloud forest, the coast, San Isidro, or to a local coffee roaster. So fun!

Great location, Close to national parks mountain trails and buses to the beach. Walking distance to a small town, easy ride into a larger town with great farmers markets and amenities. Knowledgeable and friendly staff on a beautiful and diverse farm. Recommended!

One of the greatest experiences I've had in the past years :)
You'll definitely learn about organic farming, but moreover you will learn about yourself, spiritually and intellectually. You will have plenty of time to do whatever you dreamed of doing all those years, whether it's about cooking, meditating, painting, reading etc.
Walter is a well of knowledge, and he'll open to you if you open and show respect to him, to the farm and more importantly, to yourself. The jungle is a fascinating place to live in, and you'll only enjoy it purely only if you really embrace it. So leave the stress, the clock, the electronic stuff and the western habits at the doorstep, for this is a place a pure and timeless living.
Open your mind, heart, learn, admire, explore, apply, discover as much as you can during your stay there :)
Pura Vida fellow wwoofers, for you are about to discover a little bubble of heaven, hidden gem of our world !
