The cannoloni was oh, so, wonderful! Delicate pasta with ricotta and spinach filling and the sauce was intricate (maybe a bit of nutmeg?), interesting, and delicious. Pizza was superb - odd choice to put corn kernels on a veggie pizza.
Grounds and gardens are very pretty and hosts were very nice too. We were early - about 4:30 - when we left at 5:30, groups were starting to arrive.
Good but nothing special
Food is amazing! Like amazing, true Italian cuisine, cooked by Enzo, a true Italian. A place definitely worth visiting. Besides the food, the place itself is out of this world, surrounded by nature. Service, by Gineth, Enzo's wife, is wonderful. An experience I'm sure I'll repeat some more than once. Also important note, they also have an amazing hotel.
Great handmade pasta. Family enjoyed each dish. Service was great.
Kids enjoyed swinging on the swings.
The food and atmosphere were great! Ordered the smoked salmon pasta and it was delicious
Authentic homemade Italian cuisine!
We live in the area, and were thrilled to discover Enzo and Gineth's handmade pasta. It's excellent, as well as small, but nice wine list. The restaurant is cozy - only eight tables - and the service is attentive. For vegetarians, there's a number of pasta and pizza selections as well as a delicious baked eggplant dish that's my personal favorite.
Though we've never stayed in one of their four guest rooms, we did tour the property and loved it. Quiet, alongside a lovely river, with a nice pool and social area with a TV and a pool TV. We'll definitely be recommending this place to our guests who would like their own space.
Eating at Mamma e Papa is not eating Italian Food at some restaurant, but eating excellent Italian Food as the personal guest of real Italian chef Enzo! You don't only taste that, you feel it as well !
Great experience. Personalized service. Attention to detail. Awesome Italian food. Clean, new and quiet. Grazie Enzo!
