Fantastic place to eat. Great atmosphere.
Fantastic place to stay with amazing coffee. If you are ever in Costa Rica take the time to see Playa Negra. Stop in at El Corazon to meet Jon and stop for awhile and learn what Pura Vida actually means.
You're nuts if you don't go here for food or coffee ! Genuine and warm, It's abundantly clear that everyone here cares about what they do and what they serve. John the owner, Joey the chef (and manager), Joey's son and everyone else here are clearly passionate about food, surfing, and life. We had a five star dinner, sampling some of the menu: Mahi Mahi, whole snapper, and fish sandwiches. All were fantasticnot goodFANTASTIC. The restaurant was decorated with tables, benches, and stools all built on site. As a matter of fact, we watched pieces being crafted over breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was as yummy as dinner. Fresh fruit, huge breakfast burritos, and banana pancakes all hit the spot. The coffee they served was the best cup I've ever enjoyed in my life from a local small organic grower. I can't explain the coffeeit would be like trying to describe the Grand Canyon to someonetry it and you'll know !
Glad you're there really really good coffee great food great company great service one of the best places around I can't wait to come back and visit. Pura Vida
Amazing vibe owned by travellers of the world! Great spirit in that place.
If you're anywhere near Playa Negra you must go here. Seriously. Breakfast or dinner, it's all amazing. Coffee is A++ and the people working there are absolutely amazing. One of the many reason I didn't want to leave playa negra was this place.
