This place was a hidden gem in a beautiful spot in Costa Rica! Tony was a huge help. He greeted us on arrival with a warm welcome, and found out all we wanted to see while we were there. He recommended and booked the best tours for our family. The room was very clean, and the perfect size for our family of four. Free breakfast and delicious coffee! We truly felt like apart of the family during our quick stay here. We’d book here again in a heartbeat! Tony really goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed and at home!

The worst "hotel" ever. Simply a fraud!
The rooms are much smaller than described! No "balcony" as promised.
Walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything.
The owner is a liar and very rude!
We booked 3 nights, and after a horrible sleepless night, we decided to leave in the morning.
The owner refused to give us our money back! After that he just ignored us!response / report this review -

Great value for the price. Rooms are small but clean and four of us fit comfortably. Nice to have breakfast included, fruits and pancakes /toast with eggs. Lots of birds around including a parrot. Staff are friendly and helped us call taxis and recommend activities.

This was by far my favorite place to stay amongst all the places we traveled in Costa Rica. Room was good, shower was great, beds excellent. Tony and his staff at the front we're great. They suggested a lot of different things without being pushy or looking for a sale they seem to just want us to go to the best place. Shuttles and taxis were easy to get at this place. Breakfast was excellent and varied every day. Would definitely stay here again

This hotel is nice and the staff is really nice and helpful. The room is really basic and if we had not upgraded to a "family" room, the room would have been way too small. The "family" room is roomy. Just don't forget to close the balcony doors before you go out for the day or you will come back to a room full of bugs.

Dreams Lodge is a cute little hotel tucked away just outside the downtown area, but within a short walk to a few restaurants and a medium walk/very short drive to the thick of it all. The family staff was so friendly, attentive, and accommodating, helping us change transportation pickups/drop offs for excursions (we originally booked another hotel) and allowing a later checkout for one room for someone in our party who did not go on the last excursions with us. The rooms were clean and well accommodated with a mini fridge and two beds (full and twin in our rooms), and the included breakfast was freshly prepared and tasty. At under $60 per night, it was an amazing value. I so highly recommend Dreams Lodge.
