The owners of Mavi are such so incredible hosts. They know how to make your stay an incredible one. Mavi is a very unique hotel @Dominical. This place offers a peaceful stay, comfortable-nice and very clean rooms, nice location (walking distance to the beach), and delicious breakfast. I am Costa Rican and I will definitely hope to come back again.

This is the cleanest, nicest place I've stayed south of the American border. Barbara and Max keep a close eye on every detail and make sure you are comfortable.

Nice hotel near the beach, the pool is very nice, and the hotel staff let us store our suitcases in the lobby while we went to the beach.

This place is simply fantastic. Delicious breakfast served with love by owner Barbara. Max and Barbara are both extremely knowledgeable about the tide and best times for surfing as well as a plethora of other Costa Rican adventures. Rooms were clean and have nice porches with hammocks, if you're on the second floor. Walking distance from the beach and everything else in Dominical. The Mavi Surf Hotel made our stay in Dominical one for the ages!

Located one block from the water in a lovely small town surrounded by beautiful beaches and great surf, this small hotel will make you feel right at home. It is full of thoughtful details – from the conveniently located foot washes to the surf racks, hammock, and lounge chairs on the private patios. Breakfast is included, and like most places in Dominical there is also free Wifi. Owned and managed by Max and Barbara, a wonderful Italian couple who put their hearts into the hotel and their hospitality make this the place you should stay at when you are in Dominical.

Me and my friend want to give a shout-out and our heartfelt thanks to Max and Barbara for being such gracious hosts and making our stay in Dominical so pleasant and enjoyable. Gracias por todos. Pura Vida.

My son and I spent a wonderful few days at the Mavi Surf hotel in Dominical. I choose it based on the reviews and it didn't disappoint. Max and Barbara are the best host ever! They offer the best hospitality I've ever received in any hotel any where in the world. They make u feel like family. I highly highly recommend!
