They only have one vegetarian sushi and when I asked for veggie tempura they said they would charge $15 for it which seems absurd to me. My friend ordered vegetarian gyosas and they came served with eel sauce, when the menu says nothing about this. Overall I think the taste is not that special and I find the place a bit overpriced, but the restaurant has nice interior design and atmosphere. It was the only place around that was open at 9:50pm.

The night we went the owner was the only server. He needed another. We understand "Tico time" but we were getting anxious for food and drink. My suggestion is to be faster at least with the drinks. Rolls we're just ok. Bottom half of hand rolls we're just rice. About the sushi rice, never had 'sweet' sushi rice in sushi before. Personally our group found that to be the biggest complaint. Maybe that's what the other tourists like? We're from California and it was difficult to get our pallet around. But the place itself was nice.

Relaxing ambience and a great selection of rolls. Delicious fresh ingredients and a must visit restaurant for anyone coming to Dominical.

The fish quality was good. The service was just ok.
My only big gripe was the rolls kind of fell apart. I think it was from a batch of rice that wasn't sticky enough, it was kind of soupy.response / report this review -

Sushi correcto. Creo que por lo remoto del lugar es el mejor pero no el mejor que hemos probado.
Las mesas estaban pegajosas por lo que recomiendo que utilicen otro producto para limpiarlas.
