  Most of what you need, helps if you speak Spanish but several of the staff do speak English if needed. Staff is usually friendly and helpful

  The staff were super helpful with what I was looking for. The stock person found someone so I could ask my questions better in English. They have a lot of stuff packed in that place. A lot of useful and really random stuff as well. Stuff I haven't found other places.

  Sometimes great, sometimes a struggle to get any help. Sometimes plenty of product, sometimes severely understocked with usual materials.Hit and miss, but overall still a 4/5.

  El Lagar is Jaco's biggest and most complete building supplies and home and garden hardware store. It's located right downtown, neighboring Pops ice cream shop as you head off Avenida Pastor Diaz up Pops St, which is actually called Calle Lapa Verde (green macaw street). A couple blocks further up Pops St is another building supply store, the Ferretaria (which translates as the hardware store). And if you go all the way up Pops St to the highway and turn right and drive one block, you'll find Jaco's other building supply store, Maderas Garabito (which translates as Garabito lumber). We have no shortage of well-stocked hardware stores in Jaco!

  *El lugar tiene una amplia área de productos diversos, para la construcción y para el hogar.
  
  *Pero su atención es de las más malas que he recibido. Siendo cómo que la tienda no ha entendido el arte de la organización.
