Great experience with Deep Blue. Spent a few minutes in the dive shop, getting all the gear, and walked down the street to the beach. We had a private boat with two dive Masters and one captain for our party of 8. We had varying levels of dive experience, and the dive masters were great in getting everyone up to speed and helping with some minor panic attacks. We did two 45 minute dives, and saw some great sea life. Deep Blue has great staff, and some awesome diving right near their shop. A great way to spend half your day!

Thank you very much to the crew at Deep Blue Diving. There is an excellent vibe among the folks. At no point did I feel forced to buy anything. I expressed an interest in buying diving equipment and they spoke to me about different things to consider, things to think of while purchasing, and even how to increase the effectiveness of any gear. They did have products on sale and did not push me to buy anything unless it fit my requirements.

Jackson was my instructor for my AOW course and he is an excellent instructor. He was very kind and patient throughout the whole process. He cleared up all my doubts before the dive. Also, he explained the dive site well before the dive. Something that I might recommend is probably spending more time at the wreck during the wreck adventure dive. You can probably speak to him about it before. I had some trouble with my camera and he gave me one of his gears and worked it out in no time. Thanks again. I got to see a lot of fishes, eels, etc.

I definitely had an excellent time. Around dive sites, we saw boats with 10-15 people which looked like a lot of divers in one party. We had only 4 people on our boat but I had personal attention as I was the only one doing the AOW. I might not have enjoyed having a lot of people at the same site. I would recommend Deep Blue without a doubt.

My dive master - very responsible and cautious. The only thing was the German owner did not even greet me nor say hi or hello. Need more customer relation training.Jackson, very friendly, Emmanule , he is ok but need more friendlier customer relationship skills.

Very responsive to emails, planning my dive trip with Deep Blue Diving was simple and quick. They responded to all my questions quickly with clear answers. During my dive days, DB handled my equipment (my own, not rental); they collected my gear, rinsed, dried and brought to the boat the next day. They also take care of tank changes, letting divers enjoy their surface intervals and relax. Divemasters are safety-concious and make every effort to make every dive as enjoyable as possible.

I was planning to dive at Papagayo for two days and dive at Catalina on my third day. Unfortunately, weather conditions did not permit and I could not dive Catalina. Instead, it was another day of Papagayo dive.

The only area where DB can improve is by upgrading their boats. The boats are basic, with no head and leaving divers mostly exposed to elements. The only luxury is an awning against direct sunlight.

Overall, I enjoyed prompt responses, fun dives, friendly crew and convenience provided by DB. I would gladly dive with them again.

I was very impressed with the e-mail response time and how easy it was to make our reservation. The staff was courteous and well organized during our dive trips. We were hoping to dive one day in Papagayo and one day in the Catalina Islands but weather did not permit so we did two dives in Papagayo. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend Deep Blue Diving.
