Meh. We went here because of the good reviews. It was just ok, not good. My food was actually not great at all, very bland and tasteless. My husband's was fine, hence the three stars. I would say it was my least favorite meal I had during my vacation - but almost all the food we had was great. I would suggest trying somewhere else

YOU GOTTA EAT HERE! Great food, Good service, fair price, nice view of the ocean. Was the best food we had in town. Had the fish in cognac. Was perfect!

Great food. The view is great as well. It sits on the beach. You can have a nice ocean view. Service is awesome they come right when you need them. I went back to this place twice because the service and food was really good. They do service liquor and beer so you can drink at the bar or wherever you want to sit. I definitely recommend to anyone who comes and want to try it.

The food was delicious. Had the banana and coconut curry - it was so good. The owners were super friendly. Was in a rainstorm while having dinner and it was gorgeous around. Would go again. W

We ate at most of the restaurants in downtown Montezuma while we were there and the food, cocktails, prices and atmosphere at Cocolores was by far our favorite. Don't miss it!

The staff was amazing. Completely on top of things. The ambiance was magnificent as well. Then there's the food. Oh my, how delicious it was. Best meal in Costa Rica!!! I had the Carbonara and the Chocolate Mousse. Amazing.

Stumbled in here our first night in Montezuma and had a great meal. Heard from locals after its one of the best places in town (top 2!) and felt that the honor fit. They have a huge selection of delicious sauces to choose from for topping fish, steak, chicken, pork, etc. All meals come with salad with amazing green dressing and to die for fresh baked bread. Seriously amongst the best bread ever!! I asked for extra green sauce to dip my bread! My husbands steak with porcini mushrooms came with amazing sauce. The Montezuma frozen cocktail was delicious too! And the ambience is nice - upscale for the town but laid back. The restaurant cats were cute too. A definite recommendation!!
